I saw that Morgan thing, but people brought up that newer clips he doesn't even have the ring on ... so I don't know.

Slight difference with Shane then and Rick now:

Herschel's group didn't get any of Rick's group killed.
Shane sacrificed that guy so that he could live. And for those who forget, he shot the dude so that walkers could eat him.

The essence of the message is the same, but Shane wanted to take the farm from the get-go. There's no denying Rick's world-view now has more in common with Shane's.

While they share some things in common I still see a big gap between them. If you are within the Ricktatorship you are pretty much safe. With Shane it didn't matter if you were in the group or not. Shane always chose the action that would produce the best results for himself. That's why he left Rick in the hospital; shot Otis; and eventually tried to kill Rick. There are still some big distinguishing marks between the two IMO. That said, I kinda wish Shane had left when he planned to rather then him getting killed by Rick. I thought his character had so much depth and was very entertaining to watch.

I think Rick still has a conscience. I'm not sure I would say Shane had one. Even Herschel picked up on it when confronted by Dale about the Barn. He said "Rick is a man of conscience, but are you sure everybody in your group is?"

First good episode in a long time in my opinion, didn't like michonne knocking Rick out tho. First thing I thought of with Rick's rant was how is starting to become like someone he killed not too long ago lol. Good episode tho.

Well that's good. It would be kinda stupid to have all these cryptic scenes with Morgan only to have him randomly killed. Unless I missed a scene going more into what Daryl saw... Sometimes I'm multitasking during the show

I understand it is a cash grab with this show seeing it is so popular, but is there really a need for a spin off of a show that hasn't even finished yet? Especially when it seems like it's going to be the same setting, just in a different city.

I could see if there was a different plot, or another side of the coin to view here (like the Better Call Saul spin off) but Idk about this.

It's set at the start of the outbreak, so it should play out pretty differently I would think. Who knows for how long though. Maybe they take it slower and try to fit in the first year into a couple of seasons

I hope that's what they do, that's the only way it will be mildly intriguing. Otherwise it's just 'The Walking Dead: Los Angeles', which I really have no interest in.
