I'd probably boycott it at this point for being on Colbert .... unless he was truly trying to lampoon and upset Colbert .... then I'm all for it!

Just saw this today. Thought it was great. I liked the story of this one better. Not sure if it was funnier or not. The first one was just so outside the box I think it will always stand on it's own. Either way I was completely entertained. Loved nearly every part about it.

Saw it last weekend and I liked it but did like the first one more. One thing that held it back and bugged me a little

I mean, that's sorta Deadpool's thing though. Completely ridiculous jokes and gags that don't need to be there at all.

I could be wrong but I think it is the cancer in his head that makes him truly crazy and thinks life is a movie. Or they just think the crowd will like this twist.

It's because he's a fictional character that knows he's a fictional character that's being observed by an audience.

Crazy characters have been doing this in the movies for a long time. Ferris Buehler's Day Off is probably the most noteworthy/recognizable. But this has been done all the way back to Groucho Marx.

Oh I know. I was just explaining why Deadpool does it. It isn't necessarily because of the brain cancer or any other factor.

It was just because the writers (back in the comics) thought 'Hey, let's make a comic book character that actually knows he's a comic book character, and let's have him talk to the reader".

Ya, I stopped collecting comics before Deadpool came on the scene but was aware of him. His humor always struck me as Spiderman, if Spiderman ramped it up a bit more and actually talked to the readers. I agree ... not related to the brain cancer or having any kind of psychosis at all.
