We are in the market for a new home printer. We had a Epson printer that lasted almost 20 years. Of course, the only thing was we paid about 200 per year for ink for the life of the printer.
So, the budget is anywhere up to 125, maybe 150 bucks at the most.
I've heard printers now have a sleep mode, and if you don't use the printer 12 hours, they will automatically clean the nozzles. IE, run out to the ink shop quicker.
Also, I've read where HP is notorius for bloatware and trying to get you to buy into their ink club.
Any suggestions or ideas?
I'm looking at spending less on ink and less bloatware. I'm not opposed to an HP, just want to get rid of the bloatware instead of it being on default all the time.
