I must say, Sony really has a great line up coming for PS3. Killzone sucked, but that looks insane. That clip was super intense.

IGN is questioning the Killzone footage.
Anyways after looking back at all the games for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Not saying the graphics aren't possible, but some were real-time and some were FMV/CG, others maybe targets of what they could achieve. It's clearly not entirely game footage- at best it's a composite of footage put into the best possible light, kind of like the Halo 2 footage released last year at E3, where they incorporated game footage into a scene which was designed specifically to show off the system (I'm still waiting to call in that airstrike on Covenant artillery). And honestly, having gone back and forth between the Killzone 2 and the admittedly much shorter Ghost Recon 3 stuff, I'm not sure that the actual in game, FPS view stuff is much better. And of course it does need to be remembered that Killzone was a terrible game, and given my choice between a Killzone 2 that looks like that and a slightly less visually impressive Halo 3, I'd plunk my money down on the latter.
But I'm not going to lie, Sony debuted some impressive, impressive graphics.Comment
