For a game that could easily be a bust, Guerilla Games & Sony has been somewhat upfront with this game. I'm curious to see how this game turns out.

Don't know why, but I have feeling Killzone 2 is going to turn out to be a surprisingly great game.

Well hopefully this time they'll show actual game footage and not show those fake *** movies.

yeah i hated killzone 1.....but maybe just maybe it may be a good game.....

I thought Killzone 1 was decent. I think the problem was they got to ambitious wiith games graphics and it had very bad slowdown.

The action takes you and your squad of commanders to the planet Helghan to defeat the mutated human Helghast race, but it's not just straight-ahead combat.

Killzone 2 also will be playable online on the PlayStation Network.

Your not doing yourself any favors by blowing up the picture to a larger size, as it is not a high res screenshot. Word on the playstation.com message boards from Guerrilla Games is that it is early, but we'll see.

Word on every street about every game is It's Early. When I see that sucker in movement, then I will give props. Nice picture but I'm definitely looking forward to what I see in a video with my own eyes on game footage.

Based on what we've seen Killzone 2 seems poised to live up to the lofty promise of its debut on the PS3. The gameplay looks solid and immersive, with some very cool bits of polish in the form of animation, physics, and interactivity that enhanced the familiar first person action in some interesting ways. The visuals in what we've seen are extremely impressive and rank among the best we've seen on the hardware to date. Aside from the obligatory high poly models and vast environments which we frankly expect out of a PlayStation 3 game, Killzone 2's lighting and particle systems are looking great. Finally the game's audio, and the awesome kick it gives to all the action, is headed in a positive direction that should give Killzone 2 a cool, immersive vibe. Does this mean the game is the be all and end all of first person shooters? Given that development is ongoing it's tough to make that call at the moment. What we will say though is that Guerilla appears to be doing a lot of things right in Killzone 2. We're anxious to get our hands on a playable version of the game and see how it all handles ourselves, but what we've seen makes us think development is going well.

The opening was once again fantastic, but we couldn't help but sit there and think, "When are we finally going to see some in-game footage?" The only thing was that we had been looking at in-game footage. As soon as our soldier hits the ground and his gun comes into view, very much like what we saw with the opening to Resistance, we couldn't help but think, "Holy hell, all of that was in-game?"

AFter reading the whole article I am really impressed with what they have done. This game is definately going to shoot up the radar

Killzone 2 could be very good, I just wish I didn't have the bad taste in my mouth from Killzone 1, which was absolutely terrible.

But as of now, the game is beautiful. Here's to hoping the gameplay is equally as good.

i still dont know why the soldiers dont wear helmets and whoever heard of an open top ship transport carrier....

so far its just so so for me, i need to see more clips because right now COD4 by far has me pumped...
