I preordered from Gamestop.com and Walmart.com and was told by both, when I ordered a couple months ago, that I would get an XBOX 360 on the release day. With all the talk of the EB shortage, I was just wondering if anyone had gotten a confirmation or talked with either of these companies? Gamestop called me a few weeks ago to confirm my address, but I haven't heard anything else from them yet.
I expect to receive some kind of confirmation by the 12th. This is 10 days before the release of the 360. At Gamestop, you have to cancel your order 10 days in advance or you will be billed for the order, according to their website.
I just hope that I don't get an e-mail from them saying that my order has been delayed until sometime after Christmas. As long as I get it by then, I'm cool, unless I run into one somewhere else before then.
