well so far it's only 2k6 that's giving me the disk error. hopefully it's just the game and not the sytem, it would be a bitch to replace now.

Guys this is why I didn't pay any extra money for a warranty at TRU, just for the simple fact that I knew microsoft would be including there warranty offer just like they did with the xbox.....$59.00 for 2 years for anythihng that goes wrong they fix it for nothing, and in the event they can't they send you a new one. Best of all when the two years it up you can keep renewing.....Great warranty, I had it with my xbox and used once when my disk didn't read any games.

Man...I am getting old. Whatever happened to getting a warraty WITH the thing you just bought. Ie, you just paid out a small fortune for something, so you get a warranty with it...a guarantee it will work for a few years.

Selling additional warranty time is poor form imo.

Yup, my DVD drive is messed up. I can't play a game longer than 5-10 minutes before it says that the disk I am using is out of region or says that the disk is damaged. It happens on all 3 games I bought (PGR3, COD2, and NBA2K6).

However, I am getting really good at Hexic.

Same exact thing over here. I cant play any games for more than 15 minutes. Even when I play a DVD it stutters abit. When I play Madden it said 1 time I should put the disc in a XBOX 360, WTF?

I feel your pain, man. You drop $600+ on a console and games and you can't even enjoy it. My EB won't help me out, and getting it fixed sucks because you have to send something out you JUST bought. Not a good sign if the same problems are already popping up with the 360 that plagued the first launch Xboxes.

I feel your pain, man. You drop $600+ on a console and games and you can't even enjoy it. My EB won't help me out, and getting it fixed sucks because you have to send something out you JUST bought. Yeaaaaa man. Gotta expect it with the first batch but, why me?!?!!??!?
WHy US!?!?!?! lol. Ahh well. I cant go back to current gen tho. I guess Im just assed out.

I had the same thing happen to my Madden, after several tries I got it to work. I am definitely going to pick up the warranty. This is bull****

How much time do you have to send it in? Do they give you a new one?

The thing says you should send it in within 10 days. If they are unable to fix they will send you a new one.
