Re: 360's at cc.com
I officially hate Microsoft. I found that deal on ebay, but the joint wasn't legit. I figured that I might have a chance cause another kat on there purchased one and "received" it, or so the feedback said. Ironically, I'm not feeling this joint on the real. I warn all who try to get this sytem on ebay for anything near the retail price to beware. I'm back to square one.......Originally posted by warnerwlf98 -

Did you lose any money in the deal?Originally posted by luv_mistI officially hate Microsoft. I found that deal on ebay, but the joint wasn't legit. Just because of the 360 shortage, con men are coming out of the woodwork to make a quick buck. That's another thing that makes me think twice about doing a deal like this for a hot item for tons of money. The best thing just might be to camp out at Best Buy or something like that. Just makes this waiting harder - knowing there's very little you can do about the situation, while others are lucky."We were expecting a miracle with Elite, but instead we got Jesus at halfcourt."

Well, ironically I'm not sure yet. The thing is I paid with paypal and since they have a solid "warranty" on any money "lost" through a transaction, I didn't think twice about using the money. Plus, it shows the kats name through the transaction. I'd definitely have a reason to sue too...I think. Still, I can't file that I didn't get my product until the 19th. It felt so right...almost like it was meant to be. A playful bid that went right in the earliest hours of the morning.Originally posted by warnerwlf98Did you lose any money in the deal?

One thing that I do recommend is NEVER EVER use Western Union or any other wiring service. I'd only go through paypal if anything cause at least there's an 80%+ chance of getting your money back. I definitely wrote the bastard a nice little email for being an @$$ and doing that joint. Of course, I'm sure that his conscious doesn't react to it the way that I would hope that he would, but hey, that is life. You win some...you lose some. On another note, I was definitely hoping that I could get money back sometime this week seeing that systems might be trickling places and I could get a friend to hold one down for me or something, but that long wait might just turn me off from the XBOX 360 until their prices are lowered and demand has decreased a heck of a lot. Plus, my girl is buying one for me regardless. I'm all good though. Always use a service where you have a garauntee to get your money back if it's a sham.Comment

Paypal is a good deal for buyers - it should come through in cases like this. You're lucky to have someone looking for youOriginally posted by luv_mistWell, ironically I'm not sure yet. I figure it this way. Just relax until next year around January or February. Either you'll get one offline or you can walk in and snatch one up. The more time that passes, the more likely you guys will be able to snatch one up. Just a thought.......Originally posted by warnerwlf98Yeah, I saw the xboxtracker website said CC had them, but the second I loaded the CC page, they were gone. Curses!Comment

Yeah . . . I know, but I just picked up a Samsung HDTV and I'd love to have my old compatible games bumped up to 720p.Originally posted by luv_mistI figure it this way. If I had the 360 now, the only game I'd have would probably be NBA 2K6, but the only 360 game I'll really need is CHoops. If I can't find one by the end of January, or so when it gets released, it would suck."We were expecting a miracle with Elite, but instead we got Jesus at halfcourt."
