If you like games you owe it to yourself to try the demo. If you don't like shooters it may or may not be a must buy. However, everyone should see what the top of the gaming atmosphere food chain looks like. The first 15 minutes or so you are just looking/wandering around and it is worth every moment.

Some have also compared it to an underwater version of System Shock 2 which oh by the way "Irrational Games" also made.Its sounds a little bit like a more horror oriented "Deus Ex"

System Shock 2 to this day is considered as one of the best Sci-Fi horror games ever made.Comment

Where's the end of the demo?
I was in a room and a couple of splicers were about to break the glass to attack me and then a promo video aired. I assume that was the end of the demo.
Levine was the guest on Hryb's latest podcast and he described the game as a FPS. I would probably describe it as a FPS/Adventure game. The opening scene reminded me a little bit of Lost.
The demo was about 45 minutes long and very fun to play.
Garnett from 1up said Bioshock is a GOTY contender. He's played the retail copy and he couldn't stop talking about how great the game is.Comment

Awesome game...the "end" of the demo was just frustrating. Seeing the splicers banging on the glass it was like some underwater 'Night of the Living Dead'.
I kept walking around looking at all the set details. This game just oozes quality. Looks like Madden will get one week of play and be shelved while I venture through 'Bioshock'.

I'm debating on whether or not going with the Vets league of Madden due to Bioshock. I can see myself getting lost in this game for a couple weeks while Madden goes on the back burner. I'm going to give Madden a good day or so and make my decision.Comment
