Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
Candyman, I bought the 32" Westinghouse last week for $800 but will get a refund for the black friday price. And let me tell you the TV is astonishing. A great HDTV for the price, I recommend to all looking for am HDTV not over $700LA Angels

Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
The TV dropped in price this week to $699 + the guy from Best Buy told me that if you buy the TV now that they will not price match it on Black Friday. I will ask one of the girls at the customer service if they will hook me up on Black Friday if I were to get that TV sooner. I have a 30" Toshiba HD CRT that I game on, that I'm not too happy with. A guy I work with may buy it off me for $400, so that would go towards this new one.Comment

That's right. In fact, the only Wii game I've heard that uses the classic controller is Smash Brothers.Comment

got a cousin that works at CC who told me that you couldnt get a price match on items you purchase before black friday.
So i decided to splurge a bit and picked up the newer 32" samsung model. First hdtv for me, and i am pretty damn impressed with it.Comment

Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
I was told the same thing by the peeps at Best Buy today. I told my wife how cheap the LCD was and she was like we have to get it even though it would go in my office. I'm thinking that if the guy at work buy my CRT HD, then I only pay $100 out of my pocket for this TV. I guess I will have to get up early Black Friday.Last edited by CaptainZombie; 11-13-2006, 08:02 PM.Comment

Candyman:
Put on an extra pot of coffee Black Friday morning and go for it. The Westy is a really nice set, and it will be larceny to get it for $100 out of your pocket.
Good luck!
Take care,

Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
I've never bought sony batteries. I have Duracell. What you picked out would work great. Plus it had good reviews. All my batteries are now niMH, any brand battery work in that charger.
Basically the longer you are willing to wait for batteries the cheaper the charger

Does the amount of time it takes to charge batteries affect their life span in any way?
