It's official.....Halo 3 to appear at E3
The video is allegedly two minutes long, although its contents weren't divulged. We're guessing a wild breathtaking battle on Earth. Knowing Microsoft, the publisher will want to show all real, in-game engine footage to counter Sony's fantastical CG videos from E3 2005.PS4: aBayBates

Re: E3
I know when I come back, I'm just going to be reading and downloading EVERYTHING!! I sure would love to see three different sticky threads for E3...or maybe four. Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, Other (for the computer games and stuff if they are even there). I'm sure that a mod might not like that idea though.......Originally posted by abates21i think we should have seperate e3 threads for 360, ps3 and revolution/wii. That way I won't have to scroll through pages and pages of cgi videos for the ps3 (kidding). Just think it would clear everything up much more than having one HUGE e3 thread.Comment

After last year's abortion that was G4's E3 coverage I couldn't care less about their coverage this year. That was the most painful garbage to watch last year.Originally posted by FlawlessG4tv E3 2006 coverage.

Re: E3
My heart is overjoyed but I will only suffer. I hate that graduation falls on that week. I love my girl though so I'll hopefully be able to sit through it all.
Crackdown in playable form would be nice. So would Lost Planet and the LOTR joint. Ever since I last played Sonic on the Sega Genesis, I just never saw the appeal of the newer ones. Just seem so forced or something. Hopefully it'll be straight. How Sonic neer seemed to make that move, I'll never know. Mario seemed to be great with their transition. Dang what I'd do to play some Mario.......

Re: E3
I think part of that is the comparison between Super Mario 64 on the N64, and whatever Sonic games came out for the Sega Saturn. It was just a no-contest, and I guess Mario took over.Originally posted by luv_mistMy heart is overjoyed but I will only suffer. I hate that graduation falls on that week. In any case, I'm looking forward to info on the new Sonic game (which I now realize exists, haha). I'm not particularly interested in the racing-style games they've been releasing with Sonic (or the dreadful, wonky-controlling Shadow the Hedgehog), and hoping they go back to the roots of the series a bit.Comment

Re: E3
How do you go back to the roots of Sonic when it's a 3D? That's what I'm trying to figure out. What are the roots that would make the game feel and play as great as it did the first time I popped it into my Sega Genesis? I definitely couldn't be a developer cause I'd never leave the brainstorming room.......Comment

I wouldn't compare it Sega Saturn Sonic to N64 Mario. More like Dreamcast Sonic to N64 Mario.
I'd say Sonic made a good transition to the 3D world.Xbox 360 GamertagRAW 910
