1 right now, but I'm looking to purchase a 25-30" HDTV for my bedroom.

The one I have is a 46" Samsung DLP

Not sure what I'm going to get for my bedroom yet.

that's a shame. 1080p for gaming is as important as the emotion engine was back in the day.

Yes I finally crumbled, and bought the Olivia (Syntax) 32" LCD 3 weeks ago after picking up the xbox 360 the 1st week of April. Believe me, I did a lot of p***ing and moaning about having to upgrade, but bottom line is I enjoy gaming as a hobby and after comparing the 360 on SDTV vs HDTV, I couldn't take it any more

I am at the point now, where I don't even own an non HD-TV anymore. Once you go HD it's tough to go back.

I was an early adopter, so my set can't even do 720p much less 1080p.

But stuff looks good in 1080i.

I have a Philips 30" CRT. It suits my needs for right now, but like Kilmer, I'm in the 1080i-only club. The picture looks great, though.

I have a couple...a Hitachi 57" 720p/1080i (1080i native) CRT and a little 27" 480p/1080i upscaling TV.

I have no HDTV, but am planning to get one later this summer, when some money comes free in the budget.


I've been using the VGA cable for the 360, but the constant switching of the hookup gets tiresome.

I own the 1080p KDS-R50XBR1 Sony SXRD and love it! Watching SD is painful now (not trying to be elitist). I just watch TV too much now, much to my wife's chagrin. 360 on that thing is amazing!

I also have a 32" 4:3 Sony Wega CRT that is currently hooked up to my Gamecube (PS2 and 360 on the big daddy). It's kind of lonely, since my 21" LCD computer monitor gets much more attention in the same room.

You could get one of those little KVM switches. That's what I am using when I want to play the 360 on my monitor.
