360 Game Choices...

Ok, long time reader, infrequent poster.

Recently, the wife bought me an XBOX 360 (I know, greatest wife ever), and my brother has it and let me borrow a few games and I have purchases a couple of games...Here is a run down.

Oblivion - Can't get into it.
Prey - Bored by it.
NCAA - not bad, but man, was expecting so much more.
Code of Honor - Love it.
Fight Night - Not bad, but the regular XBOX version was just as good.

My point. I am a little let down by the 360 titles. From lack of options to the lack of depth of the games. After the oblivion try, I think I am not a role playing type...unless it is Star Wars, yeah I am nerd for Lucas and his creation.

But my question? What the hell games should I get. I am looking for that WOW, and have not found it except for in COH. I have heard about GRAW and thinking of that. But how are....

Blazing Angels
Battle for Middle Earth
and Gotham Racing?

What are you guy's takes on these games and what is that incredible game that I am missing.....cause God, please I fear.....I might have become to old for these things. Please don't tell me that. Help an older gamer quench his thirst, for I fear, Madden already looks like a let down.

Help.

I like PGR3 alot for what it is. It's not a sim by any means, but it's a fun game. It's also a great looking game and is good online.

I also liked Rockstar Table Tennis. I didn't get into it right away but the gameplay really grew on me after the controls became intuitive.

If you like COD, you'll like GRAW.

I rented Battle for Middle Earth and couldn't get into it, but I've never been a big RTS fan.

You should also check out XBL arcade, if you haven't already.

With any launch system and you can insert PS3 as well, quality games are few and far in between. Like everyone has said wait till later this year and things will pickup for sure.

NCAA Football 07- Playmaker is making a Legends Roster that I can hardly wait for.

PGR3- Great online game.

Madden is coming up. NBA 2K and Live in September. Gears of War sometime soon(hopefully Labor Day).

I am disappointed with the games out right now. I can't get into Oblivion. I'm more of a FF guy myself. XBL Arcade has some very good titles. I suggest you get yourself some MP's. Next year should be more promising for X360.

I saw a preview of Dead Rising...is that game not "State of Emergency" with Zombies?

IMO there haven't been a lot of great 360 games so far, but the Fall/Winter lineup is gonna rock.

It's kind of like SOE, but it has really great depth.

Do yourself a favor & get Condemned: Criminal Origins. The Demo is good, but doesn't do the full game justice. Best game I've played so far on the 360. Probably the most immersive game out & that says alot since it's a Launch Title.

It's from the Survival Horror Genre, so if that's not your piece of cake, you might want to pass. If Survival Horror is something you like, then this title is for you. Many would argue it's the BEST Survival Horror game to date....

BTW, congrats on getting yourself a 360. Happy Gaming

Agreed 100%. Still one of, if not, the best games on the system.
