Eh.........not really feeling this one. It was the feature in this months nintendo power. For the PC maybe because you can always download new content but every sims game I ever tried on a console always get old in a hurry. I will save my money towards Mario Party 8 and Super Paper Mario. The wife would kill me if I added another game to the list.

The Sims when it first came out in the late 90's (I think that's right) I would play it and stay up until like 2 or 3. If you would look at that game from a far you would be... how is that fun? Man, was it though.

I can't decide if I'll get this. I never liked playing The Sims, but I liked playing Animal Crossing a lot. I'll probably wait for a Wii version of Animal Crossing.

So this game is coming out soon (next week). I'm still trying to decide on getting it. If it had online so you could visit other people I'd definitely get it, but it still looks pretty fun after seeing the most recent vid at IGN.

I think they said it was more tying to be cute, and not a Sims type game. Didn't have to follow any of the old Sims guidelines, like keeping them happy, bathroom, hygiene, etc.

It got a 4.

I didn't the Sims, so that's good. From what I saw it looked more like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon which I do really like.

Pretty sure they said it wasn't near Animal Crossing's league though. I'll find it.

Like EG said, the review is mentioned that the game is nothing like the Sims but they do say it is more like Animal Crossing LITE.

This game could have been cool if you could import your Mii's which I haven't seen anything that says you can.

It's not supposed to be like the Sims. The goal isn't to manage the lives of the people. It's to make the existing Sims happy by building houses and things for them, having people move into your town, etc. As someone said, it's more of a combination between The Sims and Animal Crossing. The guys at IGN and Gamespot both said that in their playtime with it, it was very fun. I'm looking forward to it.

I don't think the Miis are being implemented for this one (hopefully future titles). I remember reading an interview where the developers said they weren't even aware of the Miis when they started developing the game.

I've played about 8 hours of this game and I think it is definitely fun. It is way more like Animal Crossing than the Sims if that affects anyone. Basically the game is you building stuff for other Sims in the town. The game starts with you building your house and your workshop, and from there on you build items for others that begin moving into town in order to raise your town's rating. As your rating increases, other areas are opened up.
