then I don't see what MS paid for..

the ps3 can easily get their own DLC content. It'd actually benefit Rockstar to keep it different, as the hardcore GTA fans would try it out on the opposite console just to play the unique stuff.

Well Oblivion/FN3 have I guess, but GTA4/AC/DMC4 are vital titles to show what are boths strenghs and diffrences, now and in the future.

FN3 PS3 has one more mode than the 360 and that isnt because of space...its because the ps3 version came out 8 mos later not because of lack of space/\.

You do realize BOTH will have unique episodic content right?, it is not an xbox only deal, PS3 will get its on. Expect both of these microtransactions early to March 2008.

it's good enough to please the console fanboys, and at the same time giving GTA addicts a reason to get it on two systems. It makes Rockstar money at the same time.

It's not like they can do anything else. MS paid for exclusive content, Sony fans will want the same. The only way will be to make different content for the PS3 as well.

M$ payed to brake the 6 to 8 months "exclusive" deal time it was going to have on PS3 I bet. Since unique Episodic content will be on both versions.

Nope didn't know that. If that's the case though, I don't see why they can't go all-out and actually show the graphical differences between a Blu Ray and a Hd-Dvd.

Xbox 360 has a Regular dvd, not HD-dvd, that is just the add on for movies.

either way both dont matter as far as graphics, both are all about data storage.

In this case

PS3=25 gigs BD roms and 50 BD dvd discs

360= regular 9 gig DVD

The consoles hardware are what dictate the graphics really.

because I don't see any company dedicating the time and money to make a multiplatform game that different for just one console. It's been this way since way back when multi-platform games came out. Regardless of the power and capabilities of one over the other, the game are still very similar.

Maybe Rockstar will change that. One of the top reasons Rockstar was able to be swayed was because the ps3 was still new and the 360 had more consoles sold. Later this year, the 360 will still have a lead and the ps3 will still be getting better. So it's not like it actually screams for them to fill a bluray disk up with exclusive ps3 content, since the money isn't there yet.

Maybe with GTA 5 though..

Probably is, these consoles now are alot like high end PCs now, so it wouldnt surprise me if all games go through these stages

Their workplace PCs>Console Devkits> Final Disc>Console
