    Re: Fallout 3

I thought the setting, the characters, and the plot for The Pitt were solid. Bethesda, IMO, needs to tighten up their enemy/NPC A.I. quite a bit. I just got through playing F.E.A.R 1 a couple of weeks ago and that A.I. was very good, especially for a 3 year old game.

Although it may be contraindicated to the "do anything" kind of games they like to make, I think they should script many of the enemy encounters in a way that makes the enemy more formidable and less like clueless sheep.

I didn't encounter any of the bugs that seem to plague so many other people, so that didn't hamper my experience. Using IGN's scale, I give it a "7.8".

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Man i hope they eventually release a patch to allow playing on after "finishing" the game for the ps3. That's really my only gripe with this game.

It would be nice if they lifted the experience level to 30 for us ps3 guys as well.....

Damn, never thought of that. I would be steamed if I was a PS3 only owner. Granted, I think that the first two DLC's were lacking compared to the core game. However, the Broken Steel DLC will be great allowing us to up out level and continue playing past the end. Gotta imagine that SOMEWHERE down the line, they'll put out atleast the Broken Steel DLC for PS3 users.

Yeah mate i'm hoping the same thing. I've had a great time with this game and it's one of my all time favs but i'll be dissappointed if we don't get this capabilty eventually.

I've played all the way through as a "good" guy and once i get it back off a buddy of mine who i borrowed it too i'm going to play through again as the most evil bastard since Darth Vader.

oh man... I am revisiting this game after giving up on it the first week due to being busy and having a backlog of games but now that I have time... Oh. My. God.

I can't stop playing.... I am only level 6 (started over) and have the anchorage DLC and the Pitt DLC and have not delved into either yet (tried Anchorage just to see the graphics )

looking foreward to the Cap level up to 30 and more DLC with the Broken Steel add on as well.

I can see this game lasting me for 3-6 mos.

choosing to set off the bomb in Megaton is fun...

The announced DLC is 360 exclusive, so that sucks for ps3 only owners. I wonder if there's enough in the 3 DLC packs to get to level 30 though. I already beat every mission and got every bobblehead in the stock game.

lol nah man i mean the mod culture has begun much like Oblivion's. Oblivion now with all the mods doesn't resemble the retail game at all now. This is headed in the same direction looks like.

I envy you. Playing this game through for the first time is the best. Now I just walk around and explore every inch of the map I didn't see while completing the game. Then, Evil campaign will begin

yep still going strong... level 14 playing as a small arms, sneaky, very good guy.

Will probably start over a couple times to create different characters depending on when the new DLC drops.

Man, I just purchased this and Oblivion for the pc. I have no words to describe the mod community, its that sweet. My social life is done for, lol. Enclave commander mod, mixed with xfo realism and martigens spawns and new creatures mod. Enough said.
