And from what I've read, Rockstar will place customized cameras in gameplay scenes just to use that footage for cinematic purposes like a trailer.

Yeah that is very common technique for in-game trailers of video games.

Anyways, watched that second trailer a few more times. This game is going to be simply jaw-dropping. I can't wait to see how the game unfolds.

I might be the only one that isn't "OMGz0rs" about this game.

I know it's rockstar, and it should be good, but after last year's rockstar snoozer they have a lot to prove to me.

I think the setting should at least prevent me from falling asleep while playing it. I do love that time period. Hopefully it translates well to video games. But I'm not sold until I see some "gameplay" videos.

I'm in agreement with Chubby, RDR didn't do anything for me and was boring as hell.

I love western's, but for some reason it didn't translate to a good videogame at all. For me anyway.

LA Noire is more my style though, so I am going out of my mind for this game. LOL

Wow I honestly couldn't disagree more regarding Red Dead. It was definitely my game of the year. Each to their own but I'm looking forward to this game more than anything else this year... by a long shot.

I really liked RDR from what I played of it. Probably the slower pace of the game in some areas turned off some people though and that's understandable.

I could only play through RDR once. I've played through all of the GTA's at least 3 times. The RDR story never really drew me in (even less than Niko's did and I thought that was pretty subpar) and the side missions just grew stale after you skinned the 100th animal.

Yes, as a western game its very good and captures those "western" moments but as a complete game it just didn't do as much as I was hoping.

I'm the opposite. Every GTA game I reach a point where I just don't care anymore. Seems like I've done the missions a billion times over and over.

RDR I was into it up until the end.
