Rockstar gave up on manhunt when they could not get a M rating. They knew it was not going to sell well so they cut their losses and moved on.

Lol, dude, chill out. And, listing one game is a joke. Every company makes a bad game at some point, every actor eventually picks a bad movie, every athlete has a bad game, etc. The fact of the matter is, Rockstar is responsible for a lot of great games as well, and has earned enough respect for people to trust them with a new title.

This is an LA Noire thread, if you want to create a bash Rockstar thread, go for it, but don't come in here ruining the excitement for everyone else.

I just hope this game is long. Red Dead and GTA IV were both lengthy, but I am hoping for more than those offered. But I have a feeling this will be a shorter game than those other two titles. I think it will be a great game, but I can't see this game taking me over 40 hours my first time through. Hopefully Rockstar can prove me wrong.

I hope all games have a long story mode/campaign. I'm not into multi-player, so these days it's really hard to feel that it was worth paying so much for a game. I guess games aren't meant to be played off-line anymore, it's just not the highlight anymore. I do miss games as they were 8-10 years ago and older. Those were the days when developers still worked so hard on the single player mode.

Those were the days! Don't know what I am going to do 5-10 years from now, when most games will be mostly (only?) about multi-player, and single player will be very rare/extremely short...

People are excited for this game. This game is developed by Team Bondi and is being published by R*. I don't understand how anybody could take people's excitement for this game as a discredit to Team Bondi's development.

Much like RDR, this came was under my radar for some reason. And after checking out previews, it's immediately at the top of the list and already anticipated to be another Rockstar favorite.

Locked in my pre-order yesterday. I think I'm going to try to steer clear of any more video footage or screen's because I want to go in as fresh as possible. I have 99% confidence i won't be disappointed in this game.

if they are longer than those two it would be outstanding.
rockstar usually comes through in terms of scope.
plus I am sure DLC will be coming.

Also, its not on the site, but in gamestop it says with preorders u get a 'The Naked City' vice case and much more.
I wonder if that naked city case is based on the one form the movie of the same name?
