You can but you still have to put in each disc as required.

Hmm. If this were an online multiplayer game I'd assume that would be the online pass that comes free with a new copy of a game. But it's not that kind of game, so I don't know if they'd try to charge used copy purchasers the same way as if it were multiplayer.

Or...maybe R*'s still holding something back.

Most likely will be the same thing as Mass Effect 2's Cerberus Network. You'll probably get a few small DLC things for free if you have it.

                        Why?

RDR had MP and it's SP was fantastic. MP doesn't always equal poor SP.

But it does in many instances. Many single player games have gotten watered down in recent years with more emphasis being placed on the MP aspect.

How would you do MP for a game like this anyway? Have a 16 player capture the clue deathmatch?

I wouldn't say RDR's SP was fantastic, but I don't think inclusion of MP affected that anyway.

This game just doesn't seem like it would work in a multiplayer setting. The game-world isn't an open, sandbox like RDR or GTA.

I'm not advocating MP for this game, just think it's funny people saying MP = crap SP. Anyway, not a big deal to me.

And if you asked people, the majority would say the RDR SP was pretty damn good. One of the best SP games in awhile.

The game has an open city much like GTA IV. If we just had all the game modes from GTA IV's multiplayer put into this game, I would be very happy and would buy it day one, but as of now I am still undecided between rent and purchase.
