I really think that DC has the potential to have an awesome story line. With R*'s sense of humor I think they could probably take some pretty good jabs at politics and politicians in general. Plus, it would be cool to do missions for crooked congress men and CIA operatives or whatever.

I like the way you think, no offense guys but the last thing we need is another San Andreas or Vice City for location, I guess that another reason I'm not as crazy about GTA IV is the fact that it went back to Liberty City (NY), I mean obviously it looks a million times better than GTA III, but I want a totally new local, and I like Johhnyg83's ideas of something original and not just recreating real cities, which is cool, but if you don't live there and haven't been there, isn't the same as if you have been there.

I doubt those are the OFFICIAL Final Cities for the next GTA.

I think that's just a list of cities most of them had voted on IF(which we don't know for sure)the next GTA would take place in an non-american setting.

yeah um, thats a joke. a week after gta IV and we are supposed to beleive that rockstar is already making a commitment to a new city. The game will be at least 75% done before they announce where the location will be, and there is nothing saying that it will even be V, it will most likely be gta iv: whereever,etc.
