Game is simply insane. The blood, the violence, the announcers..LOL

Hope it sells well, could be good for the Wii overall.

You press the B Button, and swing it. Yeah, that's it. You can swing it side to side, or up and down. Very gruesome. The other deaths that you chain together are so much more violent. I stuck a street sign through a guy's neck, then tossed him on a spike pad over and over again. LOL

It's fun to jam a garbage can over his head, then jam the street sign through his neck, then jam him into the spike wall multiple times lol

It's a great game if you've got some aggression you want to let loose! Better than No More Heroes IMO, even though they're both a bit repetitive (as the beat-em-up genre is), NMH had a lot more boring parts (cutting lawns, picking up coconuts for a long time, etc).

LOL, I did enjoy No More Heroes though, but this one is a little bit more enjoyable.

I can see this getting old like you said, but it's great to pick up and smash. I got it from Amazon when they had it on sale a few weeks ago, so it's worth the $35 I paid for it.

                Re: Mad World (Wii)

I bought it yesterday (first game I bought for my Wii in years) and I'd say its definitely worth buying to have a little mindless fun whilst getting some aggression out.

I'm really diggin the black & white style, overall just a good game...perhaps though, it could become a bit too repetitive.

                  Re: Mad World (Wii)

I picked this one up yesterday and I'm quite impressed. It's a game that knows exactly what it is and it pulls it off quite impressively. Games like Postal or Postal 2 were over-the-top violent games but they just weren't very good. MadWorld is awesome. The art-style is outstanding and it is very polished. The announcers are hysterical. This game is perfect to unwind to after a long day at work.

                    Re: Mad World (Wii)

This game is INSANELY ORIGINAL, and a huge middle finger to what Wii has been stigmatized as. Gesture controls are responsive and intuitive, the art style is terrific (especially in the driving levels) and all the ways the player can kill enemies are truly nuts!

This game is an adrenaline rush, especially when you're in a "power struggle" with enemies. I haven't shaken the nunchuk and remote so furiously since playing Mario and Sonic, and it's truly given my arms a much-needed workout.

My Wii hasn't gotten much use other than the occasional game of SSBB, Tiger Woods 09 or the old WWE Day of Reckoning games...but it's safe to say that if more games like MadWorld come out, my Wii certainly will get more attention. I can't wait to see what games like The Conduit do with the system...I'm really looking forward to playing it.
