there are many other enemies besides skags and bandits

there's really not... skags, bandits, psychos, rakks, spiderants, crab worms, whatever those bugs are called, crimson lance soldiers... that's about it... with exploding/fire/acid/shock versions of a few of them

Hell yes, mostly pistols with blades attached. 100% melee damage.

I'm getting ready to just leave the first level, but I must say that the Boss battles are a nightmare...especially that Steroid freak that you have to fight. I thought Sludge was much easier than that dude.

Not sure about the rest of you but I've found it frustrating at times when I go running for cover to let my shield recharge and I'll get stuck (between a building and a rock, or something like that. My guy won't move and can't get out. I'll end up having to restart somewhere. Other than that, I have no complaints about this game.

I found a sweet revolver. Orange and has the word "pestilence" in it. Does 200+ DMG and 4x corrosive. I use that gun like 95% of the time anymore.

This game is very hard alone...i might convince my buds to grab this, but it'll be a tough sell w/ MW2 comming out in less than 2 weeks!

right now I'm a level 17 soldier. I noticed a weird glitch where i load a game and some of my equipment is missing

This game is like many others in that humans are cake to waste, but stupid animals are impossible. it's just like fallout radioscorpions, in this game there are extremely tough animals that just respawn everywhere and I really don't like that. I much prefer wasting humans too.

My turret guns kind of sucks too, it doesn't last long and is only a mild distraction for strong enemies - I thought by now I'd be able to have 2 or that the one would last much longer or something.

I really like the game though, but I know at some point I'll trade it in (nothing wrong with that).

AllB, I'll give ya some advice here.

First, use guns that have a high critical shot % and aim for the head...it's money.

Second, in your class, use the turret as a decoy and you'll notice that the enemies will be drawn to it. Then you can unload on them.

Yeah, I am very close to beating this game and I just dont see the need for a 2nd playthrough... I loved the game and the variety of weapons, but with MW2 and Dragon Age coming soon, I think I will be trading this in after this weekend...

If I had a group of people to play with I could see playing this game a long time, especially if they really dish out some nice "dungeons" in the DLC. Dragons Age is gonna fill that need though.

Shotgun was my choice throughout the game, absolutely loved em. I started combat with a sniper rifle shot that would either kill one or really knock their health done, then it was turkey shoot time with my shotguns

Same here. Currently, at level 23, i'll unload a few shots on guys from a distance with my corrosive sniper rifle, typically singling out the Bruisers with my first couple shots until they start gunning for me. Then, if the coast is safe enough, i'll charge up to first few guys with Sledge's Shotty and blow them away, then flip over to my 3 shot burst explosive assault rifle to take out the rest. Only two more levels till I can use my rocket shooting shotgun!

This game is f'n addictive. I keep just wanting to play and do more.

I hope the DLC is a 10ish hour add on area with missions and a main storyline, I could see myself buying whatever they buy as long as it's a decent length.

I use the sniper for as long as I can, and then use the assault rifle or shotgun for up close attacks, working in a phasewalk as needed.
