With how great RDR was, I wonder how this new one is going to compete. Knowing Rockstar it going to be another amazing journey though the wild west.

Wonder how they are going to do online as well. Is it going to be like GTA online or is it going to be like the original RDR. TBH I would prefer if they made it like GTA online. It would add on to the longevity of the game and keep it freshed.

I think there is even more awesomeness that they can do in free roam. I would love to be able to stick up banks or something, or rob other players in free roam.

Given the money they have made on GTAV Online I would think you can expect an equally heavy online load in the next Red Dead and you will probably get that which you are looking for there I would imagine.

Open world sandbox running amuck with friends in party chat doing missions, heists, cooperative effort, or just inane madness screwing around.

That's the appeal.

I'm not saying they won't have a presence or make an announcement, but doesn't Rockstar typically shy away from E3 ?

Just booted this up again in the morning and played 20 minutes before work....I never finished the game. I am about 35-40% through it.

Seriously....I don't even remember why I put it down....but I am finishing this now along with Deus Ex Human Revolution.

Fantastic game.

I'm not surprised. Rockstar is kind of like Blizzard in a way. They have so much influence and power in the industry they could announce a new game during a zombie apocalypse and everyone would still stop what they were doing and tune in.

When Rockstar is ready to announce the game, they will. Doesn't matter what time or day it is.

What I've read on the internet a few places is that RD was gonna close out the Sony show. But the trailer had a scene featuring a guy shooting up a saloon and given what happened in Orlando and without time to do a proper edit it was pulled instead. Take that with a grain of salt because well....Its the interwebz.

Yea saw that too, but it was updated and dispelled.

Even after all the talk there was never really a chance R* was going to announce anything at E3. Just give us BC, that'll shut us all up for a while.

I hope they put it on the computer honestly. I also hope the new one continues to get good downloadable content. Definitely didn't spend enough time with this game. We did kind of know they were nut going to go to E3. What was the last thing they showed at E3?
