I dueled somebody in Armadillo, and I ended up shooting the gun out of their hands... by accident.... with one shot. I have no idea how I did it, anybody care to enlighten me?

During the duel, simply point the reticule over your opponents right arm and paint the target there and it will be an instant one-shot duel ender, as you will shoot the gun out of their hands.

But I kept tapping R2 (which I thought painted the targets) and it wouldn't do anything. Then finally it just shot at one point. That was the part I didn't understand.

Do not tap R2 when you're dueling.

Basically, after you draw (and make sure you wait to draw when the "DRAW" flashes), you want to line up a target and wait for the reticule to turn white before you paint the target/pick your shot. If you tap it, you'll basically be firing blind and will more than likely lose once the duels start to get harder.

Despite my PS3's issues, I feel like it's safe to say this is my favorite game released on this generation of consoles. I've never been this engrossed in a game before. When I'm not playing it, I'm thinking about playing it. That's never happened before.

I was in Tall Trees carefully roaming around in Free Roam. I was looking behind me every few seconds. The time I don't look behind me is the time two bears decide to come up from behind me and attack me. It scared the heck out of me!

It was fun trying to fight them off though, even if I failed.

Damn it looks like you can't transfer saves from 1 playstation to another (SP).

Funny because I transferred my brother's SP and MP saves and it loaded fine

Has anyone had luck hunting elk in Mexico? I've been looking below Perdido. I know theres Tall Trees but I haven't unlocked that area yet in SP

There's one thing missing from the game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are there any rogue indians in this game? I haven't run across any events that involve indians.

Oh and one more thing. I tracked down one of the guys on the wanted posters but I couldn't take em alive. How is that done? I shot the guys legs and he crawled for awhile. I walked over and stood over him but there was no prompt for capture, then he just died.

I dont think I have a lasso. You get later on or do you start the game with it?

You get the lasso after the 4th mission you do for Bonnie McFarlane.

Really? that give me hope.

I have 2 ps3's. One in the lounge that is mainly used for BR's etc on the big tv and a 2nd one that i use for 90% of my gaming in the bedroom on a smaller tv. My wife was away this week so i was using the big tv and must have built up at least 10 hours in my "bad guy campaign". When i tried copying the saved game to a usb stick and tried loading it on the bedroom tv it said there was an error and it wasn't possible to load it?

Guess i'll have to try again. I really don't want to start over on the other other console if i don't have too (but i love this game so much i will if i have too ).

This game is insanely fun and deep, I feel like I have a lot to learn!

Can anyone educate me on the importance of the outfit tasks? So if I complete one of them and acquire a full outfit, what does that get me?
