Re: Red Dead Redemption
how big of a difference does it make if you have had high honor then play again and just kill everyone and basically become dishonorable?Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I was incredibly high honor first playthrough, this second one I'm basically just choosing the "kill" option for everything. Robbing people, killing people, robbing banks, doing anything I can to make money...
...and usually fighting off bounty hunters and cops every little while. Used a pardon letter a day or two ago that pardoned me from 42 counts of murder, 35 counts of murder of a police officer, and a bunch of other ****. Something like a 3,000 dollar bounty...mainly because the groups of hunters had started to get up to 6 or 7 guys at a time and it was getting in the way of hunting.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Just got to tall trees so I guess I might have another 5-10 hours of gameplay to go. I’m going to have to go back through this thread so I can read the spoiler blocked messages.
Couple questions
1) Will I be able to get my 100% after I beat the game? Or do I need to make sure that I complete all missions/achievements before I do the final mission?
2) I’ve pretty much played the game as a good guy. If I felt like wiping out a small town I would hard save first so that I wouldn’t damage my honor rating. If you have a negative honor doesn’t that affect the amount of side missions you get? I thought I read in the manual that less people would ask you for help if you were a “bad guy”
2. You can buy the bandanna in Thieves Landing. If you commit any dishonorable acts with it on, it doesn't affect your honor level at all. So grab that sucker and get to harming innocents!Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Right after I got to Mexico I started wearing the poncho all the time. Kinda made John look like uber tourist lol. But it has grown on me and now I really like it.Yellow Light of Death VictimComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Same thing happened to me with like 3 missions left. I just need to stay out of video game threads on here until I finish the game. That's happened a few times to me.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I think most people could see it coming. It is the way it is handled that makes it good, not the ending itself.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
SpoilerJohn dies and you play as his son after you have beaten the game
... is the ending totally ruined for me? I still have a fair ways to go, I haven't been in Mexico very long.Comment
