Re: Red Dead Redemption
Did anybody notice the general weirdness and supernatural qualities surrounding this character in Undead Nightmare?
(Massive UN spoilers. Don't click if you haven't beaten the story.)

I mean, obviously I could tell something was up with her when we went in the crypt at the end of the game, but I had no clue that she randomly appeared in different places throughout the game. Freaky. Reminds me of an even more supernatural version of the I Know You guy in the original story.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Red Dead Redemption
So it had been a while since I played RDR, decided to pick it up again and just plowed through the rest of the main story tonight. Major spoilers below if you haven't beat the game yet.
SpoilerLet me say I wasn't really a fan of the first half of the story, too many "getting people to trust you that don't really advance the plot in anyway" quests but things really picked up once I hit Mexico.
I was actually a little surprised when John died, you hardly ever see the main character of a game bite the dust. I've got to admit, this was one of the best endings to a story in any game I have played, A+ for Rockstar. The satisfaction of blowing Edgar Ross to bits as Jack was awesome. Nothing short of the e-word.
Now I just have to do finish some stranger quests and challenges to get 100%, then it's on to Undead Nightmare.
Also, after all these hours I put into RDR, I still can't get over how gorgeous this game is. I'm constantly blown away by the visuals as I play.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Can someone give me tips on aiming?
Seems I'm getting killed left and right in Gang Matches (and other versus opponent online modes) even though most times it seems like I've aimed properly and shot before even my opponent can. As it is now, I'm hard aiming (LT) then getting off a shot; seems even when the hit is on mark I'll go down before my opponents.
Someone told me my 62" DLP HDTV could be attributing to my split-second lag.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
This game was just so, so good. Almost makes me a little sad that having completed nearly all there is to do in RDR and Undead, I need to give the Western a time out unless I want to get into multi-player. And even having minimal passion to play online in general, I still managed to spend many hours with this title.
Has to be a top 5 all time title for me.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Im extremely late to the party but I just got to Mexico and my game stats show that Im roughly 42% of the way through the game so keeping that in mind, is there still a good chunk of game left? Ive enjoyed the game so far, although I screwed up the trophy for using the same horse for 20 missions as the damn thing was shot and killed on mission 19, other then that its been a blast.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Finally dloaded Undead tonight...man I missed this game. It's good to be John again.
Just curious what the average play through time is with Undead? I never go straight through but I was just curious.- The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.Comment
