Re: Red Dead Redemption
I picked this up a couple of weeks ago, Rock Star hit another one out of the park for sure. This game is so much fun and so hard to put down.
Not gonna lie, I went through GTA IV with all the codes on to just have a good time but since you can't save in RDR with cheats activated it's a brand new ballgame for me lol.
I'm about 13 hours in so far and I think I might like this over GTA IV which I never thought would be the case and why I held off on buying this for so long.
I love the idea that I read in this thread about going through the story the first time as a good guy (which I have) and then replaying it as an outlaw/bad guy. I'm definitely going to do that."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Red Dead Redemption
What can I say about this game? I got over over 6 or something months ago and I still consider it the best game I've played this decadelol. The ending was also shocking but I think that made the game better actually.
Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I picked this up at release and I'm currently playing through it for the 4th time. Great way to kill some time while waiting for The Show.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yup, I beat this game probably 6 or 7 months ago and I have to say it's probably my favorite game ever. I used to think nothing could come close to GTA: SA, but this game leapfrogged it. Although they're still close, but that's just a testament to how great they both were. This game just nailed it.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I definitely still enjoy this game, but GTA IV is better to me IMO. Basically Rockstar knows what they're doing. They easily deliver some of the best games.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

after the hectic intense last couple days of ME2 gaming, i popped in RDR after a month of inactiviy and its such a nice getaway from the fast paced gaming.

The scenery/art in this game is beautiful. I love the shots of the landscape the game shows when you sit idle for a minute or two.Ryan Spencer

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I'm working to get 100% in this game. All I need to do is do the survivalist, treasure hunter, and sharpshooter challenges, do the rest of the bounty missions, and a few stranger missions and then I will get 100%Eagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

SpoilerIt doesn't tell you anywhere but you need the legend of the west outfit for 100%. Also be sure you track the kind of bounties you round up the list on the stats menu can be inaccurate.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. So I guess it indirectly tells you. I haven't even started on bounties yes either. I'm doing the master challenges and stranger missions. Bounties will probably be last. Red Dead wiki 100% page is so helpful.. I can track my progress that the game doesn't
