    ASB: pennant races

does anybody have any great pennant races going?
i am one game out of the all star break, I now have 60 wins, and I'm (Giants) still 5 games behind the D-backs. I have alot of games left w/them so it should be a good run.
Also, believe it or not the Rockies are only 2 games behind me for the wild card and they just traded for Kerry Wood.

i'm only 9 GB of the Astros with about 55 games to go. but i'm leading the Wild Card race by 4 games over the Expos. should shape up to be a great end. the Astros and my Brewers are the only teams above .500 in the Central. the Cubs are 18 GB. i play the 'Stros in a 2 game series coming up. i need to win those.
    Teams:

    NFL - Packers & Browns
    MLB - Brewers & Twins
NCAA Football - Wisconsin, LSU, Virginia Tech
    Soccer - Arsenal, Wolverhampton
    NHL - Wild

I love a good pennant race. In my last season i (Rangers) were locked in a battle all year with the m's. I came in second but was able to barely win the wild card over the red sox. I was promptly ousted by the Yankees though.

I just took 3 straight from the Rockies, including 2 pitcher's duels against Neagle and their new ace Kerry Wood.
But the DBacks refuse to lose

Ya, I couldn't believe it, they didn't even give up anything to get him either. I can't remember who they gave up, but they've got a pretty good staff with him.

I just climbed to within one game of the Dbacks, with J. Schmidt going against the Unit next.

I have a 10.5 game lead in the AL West with my Rangers. Seattle's leading the Wild Card by a few games with the Angels starting to put it together and get close to that wild cards spot. The A's just suck, they traded Tejada to the Mets.
