I enjoyed Raven Down in the first one as well but if they brought it back it would be a sawed-off fest.

Yeah that was the first thing that came to mind when I first thought about this map being brought back.

I agree. It is ruining MP for a lot of people, especially on the official forums.

Yeah the sawed off is a little much to be a starting weapon. It should be a level weapon period. Exactly how the torque bow and sniper are.

The sawed off is easy though, if the guy is using it, avoid him and make him miss. It takes 20 minutes to reload and then go in for your kill. Doesn't bother me at all, and I've died a lot from it. But I've got a lot of kills because the guy missed his first shot too.

Yeah the guys on the **** forums need to learn that THEY might be reason why they get killed by the sawed-off a lot. It can be avoided, but I would still love it to be nerfed because the range is ridiculous.

Miffed MSFT keeps them from the PC like they had the first one, it was so much better on the PC in every way! Avoided two cause of it, trying to maintain my "boycott"!

Your missing out Enigma boycotting this man, Gears 3 is my GOTY right now till 11/1 when another game comes out. On 11/1 we shall see between these two games which ones imo is GOTY. There are a few things that disappointed me with the story because they left a few loose ends without answering them, but a very emotional story in Gears 3. I agree, if they had all 3 games on the PC it would be awesome considering how nice from what I have heard about Gears 1 PC looks.

Why is the online portion of this game so bad? Every time I play horde I can't get further than wave 10 without getting that stupid message "your connection to the host has been lost" And on top of that everyone seems to drop out or lose their connection because it always ends up with just me and one other person after a few waves. Gears 2 was way better online connection wise in my opinion.

I've had no such problems, could be your connection? Maybe your NAT settings are on strict or something?

Gears 2 online connection system was down right awful (did you experience what it was like a couple of weeks after its release?!?), that's an insult to Gears 3 saying that Gears 2 was better in that category!

Nope it shows my NAT as OPEN right in the menus of the game. Don't know how you haven't experienced this. Maybe your playing private horde with friends? I'm talking about standard horde where the game searches for random players.

I never played Gears 2 right after release so I wouldn't know. I picked it up a couple months after release and never had a connection problem playing online.
