Link? If lots of people are saying it I'll try again. Seems like one of those too good to be true kind of things, plus it seems like everyone would have loads of everything if it worked.

About to try and catch Ho-Oh myself. Luckily the way I trained my Pokemon today for the Elite 4 landed me 14,000+ per battle, so I have like 700,000P at the moment. Going to buy a bunch of Dusk Balls since it's a better catch rate than Ultra Balls.

Yeah, I'm erring towards thinking it's BS too. My fault for being a moron. My only question now becomes, why on Earth put a single MB in two regions worth of games?!

It's better that way IMO.

Just caught Ho-Oh. Took 16 Dusk Balls which is like the exact odds for the situation I was in. On to the Elite 4 I go.

there is another way to get a master ball but the odds is very low, you have to play the lotto in the game, if any pokemon ID number matches all numbers you win a Master Ball...but good luck with that.

I have multiple masterballs I can trade. I ran a trade center on neogaf for a while so I got a lot of stuff. .

Here's my team for the Elite Four. Kind of taking a chance with the lower levels, but I'm pretty sure I can make it through the first four no problem.



Noctowl is really only there because it was the first thing I caught in this game and has been with me ever since. If I struggle, I'm just going to switch it out with Ho-Oh. It has Psychic attacks which should help out with a couple of the members if I need them.

Typhlosion should make Koga really easy.

Kangaskahn is one of my two utility guys. He has Outrage and Avalanche for the dragons, and has Crunch for the Psychic pokemon the first member has. I also left it with Dizzy Punch for the STAB bonus if I need help but don't have an advantage left.

Octillery is a beast. I mentioned it earlier, but it has Psybeam, Blizzard, Surf, and Signal Beam which means it has an advantage over all but two of the Pokemon I will face. If it were a higher level I could beat the entire Elite Four with it.

Ampharos is mostly there to help with Lance, but it does know Signal Beam as well so if necessary it can take out some Psychic or Dark pokemon.

I've been desperately trying to up my team. Lv57 Lugia and 56 Feraligatr have gotten me past Sabrina in SS with every other PKMN lower than 30, but I need more variation in my party. Only 30 levels to go until I have Dragonite! #killmenow

Experience share was my best friend when it came to leveling up my Dratini into a Dragonair/Dragonite.

I've just been doing the Dratini goes first, then swap out technique. I'll have to try that, I should have the Exp. Share already. Thanks man!

I appreciate y'all hangin' in there with my stupid questions and thoughts, it has been a while since I've been truly in love with the series...my 9 year old self would be so mad at me for not knowing some of the things I'm asking about.

So I caught all the legendary birds and Suicune. Trying to catch Mewtwo, it can't hit my Honchkrow since it only has psychic attack, of course I run out of Ultra Ball ( had about 60 of them) and Mewtwo uses struggle and kills itself. Time to reset and try again :/

Yeah, if you have the EXP Share equipped AND you're doing the switch technique they'll get 2/3 the experience instead of 1/2.

Red, sorry I missed the PM about the master balls - that little red box is never big enough for my poor eyesight.

Also... I can't wait for Black and White 2. Let's just say it's in my DS currently, and I got this Piplup Recital Piplup from the Mystery Gift. I just beat the first Gym leader, and my team is as follows:
L10 Oshawott
L12 Riolu
L13 Psyduck
L15 Piplup
L10 Pidove
L11 Magby

Obviously starting teams are horrible... but 2 starters, 1 of my favorite newer Pokemon (Riolu, caught at L5), and two of my all time favorites (Psyduck, caught at L4 & Magby caught at L11) just has me pumped for this game. I don't even like Psyduck from the game, it's just that every time I've seen an anime episode he cracks me up.

I'll report in with more when I explore a bit more. I can just tell you guys that we're in for a treat come October.

Exp share works wonders for helping the low pokemon level, also if you ever catch a chansey they have a chance of holding a lucky egg which gives the pokemon holding it extra exp boast (same boast a traded pokemon gets) it's only a 5% chance though a chansey will have this held item but I'm posting just as an FYI for maybe later on when you want to level those pokemon who have slow exp growth like Dragonite and Salamence etc etc

Just a quick update... I now have 3 badges. My team is as follows:
L20 Dewott
L20 Magnemite
L22 Lucario
L20 Psyduck
L21 Tranquill
L20 Growlithe

Still not the most balanced, but better than before... I just finished up with Castelia City. Unfortunately I'm a little puzzled as to where to go next. I'll get it figured out though.

The gym updates have some pretty cool looking/interestingly designed/clever gyms. Black/White 2's Castelia City (bug) gym >>> Black/White's Castelia City gym.

BTW, if anyone online now here has a Gen 5 game...

I'd greatly appreciate some help evolving pokemon (through trade, just 2 of them.) Either post here or send a PM - I'll keep an eye out.

As it stands in B/W2... I have 6 badges. My team is currently in the process of being updated but here it is now.
L31 Dewott
L30 Sandslash (Protip: Get Rock Tomb / Dig and absolutely run through Elesa for her badge)
L27 Lucario
L20 Zubat (2 levels away from Golbat, 3 from Crobat... Who in B/W2 at least is pretty tough.)
L11 Magby (switched back from Arcanine)
L19 Eevee (caught @ level 19, going to evolve it to Espeon)

The others I have that I am leveling and will consider sliding into my party: Axew (just because Haxxorus is beast mode), Darumaka (I just like Magmar better but you can't ignore how monstrous this guy evolved is), Escavalier (the one I need help evolving, I have the other pokemon they have to be traded with to evolve), Magnemite, and Zorua (you get a special Zorua at L25 in this game, it just doesn't have the moveset).

There's the Pokemon World Tournament which is pretty cool. I've only done the small part of the story there (none of the post-game activities obviously) but that whole sequence and music has to be one of my favorite sequences ever in this series.
