About 3 months after I bought my X-Box, I just couldn't play my PS2 anymore. The last game I bought for the 'Station before I sold it was Vice City. I loved GTA III but after getting used to X-Box graphics and load times, it made Vice City look old. Look at screens for the new 3D Castlevania and look at screens for Ninja Gaiden. They don't even look like there in the same generation. I hate that I missed out on Vendetta, but othr than that there's really nothing on PS2 that I can't live without. Plus I'll take Knights of the old republic, Dues Ex 2, Half-Life 2, Raw 2, Fable and Halo 2 over ANY PS2 exclusive....

Except Grand Turismo 4

So you are not going to get something good now...so you can get something of unknown quality in 2 years or so?

no what i'm saying is that I dont wanna buy something now, and abanden it in a couple years, i wanna pay it for the long haul. The only way I'll get an XBOX before PS3/X Box 2 would be if the price drops again, then i'll actually consider getting one.

Still makes no sense to me. You won't play a ,IMO, great system now...Just because you think you will drop it in 2 YEARS because of the PS3. How do you know the PS3 will be the be all/end all system?

So true. There is always going to be something better coming down the road. I mean take sports games for example. It'd be like not buying NFL 2K4 because you know NFL 2K5 will be better. Then not picking up 2K5 because you know 2K6 will be better.

in a way no. Cause see the nfl2k series come out every year and is 50 bucks. A playstation system comes out like every 5 years and is around 300 bucks. There's a difference there. But why buy a 180 dollar system when in 2 years i can get another system thats better than the XBOX, and still be able to play my PS2 games and keep the same ps2 controller and use it on the ps3(assuming).
