I think for me it must have been the Quake Series. That still seems like the golden age of Shooters to me.

Everquest back in 2001 nerd friend of mine bought me the game so i can play with her and her hubby. My life was over when i finally gave it a shot.

I turned into one of them nerds, now with games like WOW its just common.

It was CoD4 for me. I was never much of an online gamer. I dabbled in some Halo 2 online, and enjoyed it, but I was/am more interested in the single-player experience.

It wasn't until I participated in the CoD4 Beta that I seriously got hooked. I played CoD4 online up until MW2 was released.
