I downloaded the soundtrack, you just have to search for it on google.

That was awesome. I meant to watch that, but I forgot about it.

Super interesting to see how the game awards exploration watching the VJ run, while enjoying the story in the BR run.

          Best of both worlds.

You guys are crazy. This game is awesome. I could care less about the visuals, it's a $20 game. It's virtually Twin Peaks, with the obsession for Coffee, instead of talking into a tape recorder he talks to himself, the cheesy music when there's dialogue, the quirky weird *** characters, the FBi agent investigating a murder of a girl in a small town, and a few other similarities.

I love Twin Peaks, so a game that resembles it is fine my book. I'm only seven hours into it and loving every minute of it. Yeah of course the graphics and controls are bad, but it tells a great story and for $20 you can't go wrong. To me it's better than most $60 retail games on the market now. If this went for $60, I'd still but it, I mean I wasted $60 on MW2 when that garbage was released, so I'm happy with my purchase.

The story isn't great, it's weird and ridiculous but it's hilarious to watch. The characters making the same gestures everytime they talk is pretty annoying too.

It gives nods to Twin Peaks, but appears to pretty much stand on its own weird story now. They did change parts of the games when it was called Rainy Woods and got criticized for pretty much ripping off Twin Peaks.

Oh really, I didn't know that. Yeah I guess they couldn't make it exactly like it without getting the license. It's nice after all these years for a game to replicate that great show.

                                Re: Deadly Premonition

Now available on Games on Demand in Europe.

Also while they've still never reviewed it (probably because they understand it can't be reviewed) Gamesradar has wrote a very good recent article on why it's better than Heavy Rain,Resident Evil and even GTA with addtional pokes of it being better than Gears of War and RDR.

Small excert (it's 4 pages long):

The thing is, that "so bad it's good" appraisal is deeply inaccurate. Naive, even. Because while Deadly Premonition in many ways veers far from the currently accepted standards of modern game production, it is in no way an ironic guilty pleasure. It's actually "so good it's brilliant". Play the game, get to know it, really understand it, and you'll realise that in many ways it's actually one of this generation's most inspired and cleverly-designed works. But before you do that, read on. Because I'm going to try to explain why. We never reviewed it, you see, so I've decided to make up for that with a whole lot of beard-stroking discourse.
                                http://www.gamesradar.com/xbox360/f/...20142851370015

There's also very good points on open world games and game stories/characters in general there.

There's a link in the article to Swery's blog and a good one about how the game was designed and why: http://www.accessgames.co.jp/en/repo...2011ss1_e.html
