Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
Fallout3, Bioshock, DragonAge*, Bad Company(part 1), Spiderman Web of Shadows
*I've actually played about 35 hours of DragonAge, but had to put it down before it became a problem. Decided not to go back into it until after I beat Mass Effect 2, which I'm on the last mission of. Not sure if Dragon Age counts with so much time put in, but I really want to get back to that game. Similar situation for TLAD. Probably won't fire that up until Sons of Anarchy comes back on.Comment

Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
Lost and the Damned expansion - only played about an hour
Ballad of Gay Tony - haven't even touched
Red Dead Redemption - I've only played a few hours, I need to get back to this.
Mass Effect - picked this up for $5 on Steam the other night
Infamous - about done with the evil side, but put the game down as I got sidetracked.Comment

Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
These Below are games I still have that I havent beaten. If I was listing all the games I have got and never played/played very little then got rid of, my list for all the consoles would be much bigger.
PS3:- Mod Nation Racers (Love it but got bored)
- God of War 3 (Didn't impress me, played first "Intro" level then haven't played it since)
- Demon Souls (Got to damn frustrating)
- Valkyria Chronicles (Awesome game, one of my favorites for PS3 but new stuff came out and I put it one shelf. Haven't went back.
360:- FFXIII(Got really bland)
- Ballad of Gay Tony (Came out after I put GTA IV away. Downloaded it thinking I get back into it but didn't.)
- Fallout 3 (Loved the idea just hated all the blandness. Put it on shelf and havent went back. Oblivion is for me)
- Ninety Nine Nights 3 (Played the hell out of it but got tired of grinding levels)
- Toy Story 3 (Still in wrapper...lol. Want to see movie first)
- LEGO Harry Potter (Got it used (Still $45) played it a little haven't put it back in)
- LEGO Complete Star Wars Saga (Got it used out of bargain bin, played it once)
- LEGO Batman (Came combo with PURE) (Haven't touched it)
- PURE (Came combo with LEGO Batman) (Haven't touched it)
- Lost Planet 1 (Got it cheap, haven't touched it)
- Dontes Inferno (Got it used, relatively new and played it only a little)
- Too Human (Loved the aspect of Diablo loot and got it out of bargain bin. Never touched it though)
- Naruto Broken Bond (Loved Rise of an Ninja but this one fell short IMO. Put it away soon after getting it. Havent touched it since)
- Crackdown 1 (Played it for a bit, Mainly got it for Halo 3 Beta. Never touched it since)
- Transformers War For Cybertron (Got it new, played it a bit but falls into the new stuff came out later category and it got shelved)
- Operation Flashpoint Dragoon Rising (Loved the realism but Checkpoints and lack of Friendly AI pissed me off)
- Two Worlds (Game title says it all, unfortunately I got new -_-)
- Sid Miers Civ Rev (Played it a little, had fun but friends got rid of it)
- Prey (Played the demo, loved it. Got it out of bargain bin, never played it. Lol)
- Bioshock 1 (Played the beginning and really didnt care for it. Only have it because I needed an new Oblivion disc and got the combo)
- GH 3 (Got it brand spanking new with Guitar and all. Barely played it)
Wii:
- Almost every one I have gotten I have gotten rid of. Only have Mario Cart left. If I was listing all the games I have got and never played/played very little then got rid of, my list for all the consoles would be much bigger. Just to name some for the Wii:
- Red Steel 2 (Never even touched it)
- Wii Sports Resort (Played it once)

Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
Eh...seeing some of these lists makes me not feel so bad about mine. Like I said earlier, Disgaea 3 is the only one that I truly haven't played, but as for starting and not finishing....
PS3
Demon's Souls
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Guitar Hero 3 (**** Expert Raining Blood, seriously. Did beat the game on hard, though)
PC
Oblivion
Fallout 3 (though to be fair, I put in a lot of hours sidequesting on both)
GTA IV Episodes
Mass Effect 1
Bioshock
Most of the big name PC releases I got for cheap off Steam, so it's justified (kinda) in that I didn't play full price for them.
PSP
MGS: Peace Walker (current project, and I think I'm near the end having just fought the titular boss. Lots of extra missions and such have kept this one going a long time)
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Sports games don't count, or else this list would take up a whole page.Comment

Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
Yeah...
I do have some from the GC, DS, XBOX, 360, WII and PS3. For me though they are game I really want to play and interest me and not purchases for the sake of purchasing. SO at least I know they'll get played eventually...
One of these days when I retire I'll get em played.Joshua:

Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
Red Dead Redemption for me. the funny thing is I was blown away by it when I first started. I just don't have the time to play it. 4 kids and the middle of the Summer is working me. Right now I enjoy working on my sports gaming stories with Fn4 and APF2K8. That's a hobby of mine and brings me the most fun.
Another interesting thing to me is I know so much about gaming culture and what certain trends are, but I by no means play as much as I know.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Brutal Legend - Got to the first chaper/episode end. Haven't touched it since. Got it for 7 bucks on Gamefly though.
Ballad of Gay Tony - Bought it while I was playing GTA when it was on sale. Then RDR came out, then moved on to JC2. Going to be hard going back to GTA.Comment

Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
I got the original Mass Effect for $20 with a gift card just after Christmas and have never put it in my 360. That's my only bad one right now. I had borrowed a copy of Assassin's Creed II from my nephew and played through the first 5 sequences or so, then let it sit around for a couple months. Then I got a copy for $10 off Amazon and it sat around for another couple months while I finished Red Dead Redemption, and thankfully now I'm finally getting back into it.
I just can't blow a bunch of money on games I'm not going to play. I'd probably end up getting divorced.Xbox Live Gamertag: MizzouBrentComment

Re: Games that you've purchased, but keep putting off
As others have stated, I don't buy new either, so I don't feel as guilty about the small pile I do have laying around.
Gears of War - in shrink wrap
Mass Effect - in shrink wrap
Resident Evil 5 - in shrink wrap
Forza 3 - I bought and opened it this weekend. I played for an hour Friday night. I haven't touched it since.
Summer is a terrible time for me when it comes to gaming. Three kids, house projects, lawn maintenance... you guys know the drill. By the time the sun goes down and the kids are in bed, I'm done. I just want to lay in front of the TV.Comment
