    Re: Mass Effect 3

I just popped in Mass Effect 2. First time I have ever played this game (I am PS3 so no Mass Effect 1 for me).

All I can say is I am only an hour in and I am dumbfounded how I took this long to crack open the shrink wrap on this game. I picked it up for 19.99 about 4-5 months ago.

WOW! Love it. Absolutely love it.

    I am hooked.

I feel the same way. I just picked ME2 up yesterday and am 2 hours in and had to stop myself from getting to into it so I could watch the Super Bowl. Glad I waited to play it this long though. If I would've played it a year ago or however long ago it came out, I would be so ready and excited to get ME3. At least now I can play the second one and hopefully finish up before the third one releases.

Yeah I played through both on 360 on release but now I'm trying to complete playthroughs on PC before 3 releases. I really want to import a character as I always managed to lose my saves in the past.

I just started up the first game last night and it works fantastically with the keyboard and mouse. Combat feels slick being able to quickly dish out instructions with the mouse.

IMO the ending of the first was better/more satisfying, but the first 95% of ME2 was better. Either way, both awesome games and I'm glad to see more people picking these up.

Just downloaded and completed the Arrival dlc and am very pleased having avoided any information about it prior. Kind of shocked such a big plot point is paid dlc.

If you do the mission before getting through the ending of the game it's different too.

Yeh 2 great games in there own right,I guess i just really enjoyed the scenarios (Talking to Vigil on Ilos was so cool) I think to me ME1 was more unpredictable where as you kind of know what is going down in ME2...Then again i didnt see Legion(Also Cool)...great series just wished they kept ME2 a little more RPG

I never thought about buying all 3 on PC. This is the only game I play on 360. I still have the original 360 and I am afraid for its life. If it RRODs on me, I am not sure if I'll by another just for one game so late in its life cycle.

Also with the PC, I will be able to play it as long as I have a computer. It's such a classic series that I would love to play through it again and again at will even after this generation of consoles is over.

Vigil up to the ending credits was my favorite part of ME1, definitely. That's when I just felt like "whoa..." every 10 minutes. When the game ended I just sat there soaking up the ending credits and the song that fit them so well.

ME2 was a bit more predictable overall, I can agree with that, but each individual loyalty mission was very captivating and all the side quests were more interesting. I think ME2 was a better game overall, but ME1 may have had higher highs and lower lows.

Hopefully for the people who want to edit the face to their liking, it doesn't suck in every way like the last two. I couldn't find any combination that made a decent looking Shepard and it was disappointing...

I wish they do a improved version of what the show and rainbow 6 did by taking a pic of your face and putting it on your char. With the Kinect I can only imagine how detailed it would look. Would make the whole "your Shepard" feeling come to life even more.
