ME1 was $5 on Amazon a couple weeks ago. I'm sure it will be on sale again.

I played the first two on the 360. Fortunately due to the save converter I was able to convert all my 360 saves to PC without worries. Got the 3rd on the PC and absolutely love the graphical difference. Took a couple hours to getting used to playing the game with mouse/keyboard on the HDTV but now it's like normal. Not sure why Bioware doesn't support controllers on their PC games.

Either way, I plan on doing a full Mass Effect run (1-3) on the PC soon. Probably after this new ending DLC comes out.

This was exactly what I did. My favorite part of playing on PC is the non exisitant load times.

Just got this game today and played for about an hour. Liking it so far and cant wait to continue playing it.

I started a renegade Shepard run in Mass Effect (boy, I've been missing out) and compared to 2 and 3, the graphics look like crap. Even with everything turned to ultra, it's still an eyesore.

Hard to believe at one time, I thought ME graphics were great!

The most jarring thing for me was the really awful cover system. Plus, learning how to drive the Mako again.

I have all 3 for 360 now (just started ME3 late last week), but I can't imagine going through all the games from the first. I don't have the time, but I bet the tech from back then would frustrate me a bit as well.

A source at Electronic Arts has let me know a bit of information concerning a future DLC pack for Bioware’s Mass Effect 3! Entitled the “Rebellion” and includes a bevy of ridiculously awesome stuff!

The “Rebellion” Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard.

• Included are two new maps: “Firebase Jade’s” jungle reservoir & Firebase Goddess on Thessia
• In-game reinforcements have three new weapons along with equipments/consumables
• And the biggest surprise, 4 new classes: Vorcha Soldier & Sentinel, and Phoenix Adept & Vanguard

Oddly enough, I was told that there would also be Quarian Engineers and Infiltrators, but those classes are already in the mix. I can only assume and hope they meant Turian and it was a simple error in writing! Needless to say, I’m a sucker for Vorcha, and getting to roam around the already solid maps with them should be a blast! Not to mention that mysterious “Phoenix” class!
While no release date or price (if there is one) was annonuced, but be sure to check back with Front Towards Gamer as it looks like Bioware has several surprises still in store for Mass Effect fans!

I look at all leaks the same way, but I wouldn't doubt that more multiplayer DLC is on the way. I've played tons of ME3, mainly with friends, but I can't see myself buying it right away.

I've been playing a bunch of MP too but only with friends who know how to handle themselves on gold. Playing with randoms is just too chaotic and unorganized.

The first DLC was free, if they charge for this DLC I wonder how they'll handle matchmaking as far as new maps.

I haven't found a all-in-one set that I like. I've been mixing and matching pieces as I acquire them. Weapon damage, headshot damage, power recharge, power damage are my priorities.

I dont know but the best for biotics is by far the Inferno Armor.

Just a word of warning for anyone who participated in last weekends "Operation". Victory packs are bugged, and for a lot of people they can't play regular MP after opening theirs. I should have a commendation pack coming for extracting on Gold, but everything seems FUBAR'd.

The multiplayer is fun for a while until it becomes repetitive and boring. I haven't even touched the resurgence pack.

What gets me is that multiplayer is even included in the first place. Mass Effect is an RPG and made it's success as a single player game. It is easy to see that it took focus off of the single player game and probably was a contributing factor to ending debacle.

Who actually pays real money for those packs anyway? The only DLC I will actually be downloading is the extended cut. After that Mass Effect is dead to me along with Bioware.

The Commander Shepard versus the reapers story was Mass Effect. The series
died with her.
