    Re: Mass Effect 3

Finally beat the game last night. Got the perfect-ending. Readiness was 98% and EMS was over 5900. Didn't switch to insanity difficulty until about halfway through the playthrough. Thought I could still get the achievement, but I guess I will have to playthrough again; that final Marauder was ridiculously hard on Insanity.

I only have 6 achievements left, a few which should be really easy to unlock via Multiplayer; i.e. Mail Slot (@ 7/10 kills) and upgrade a weapon to level 10. In terms of earning the Veteran Achievement I probably need abour 2,500 more kills, and I still need to complete 6 of the Multiplayer maps on gold to unlock that achievement. I also missed out on the Eden Prime achievement, finding only 2/3 of the computers, so I will get that one done on another playthrough.

All in all, such a great gaming experience. This triology goes down as by far my most favorite of any console game I've played.

Good old Marauder Shields. I'm heading to earth on my insanity run and looking forward to our final boss encounter.

Ive never played any of the ME games would it be cool skipping the first one and going straight to the second. They only have 2 and 3 on the PS store.

You can. You will miss some of the background story and some other moments but you can find all of the info and movies of stuff online if you really want to.

Since it's on the PS3, you should get an interactive comic in ME2 to make some decisions from the first game I think.

It's your only option on the PS, unfortunately.

But you won't miss on some key plot points. Cuz every PS3 ME2 has a lil' mini-comic that tells you the plot of ME1 that lets you make some choices from that will affect your game save going forward.

Yep, the interactive comic should explain quite a bit but for everything extra there are a lot of ME1 videos that explain the story with all the cut scenes. Might take a while to watch but it will give you a better understanding of the universe.

My God, N7 Shadow. I don't think I'll ever use another character...gonna beh ard to top her. Hell, I don't even need to use any weapons. She's more fun than playing as a krogan.

I think all of the N7 characters are to powerful honestly. I mean their powers shoot through walls so you almost never have to come out of cover. How much more overpowering can you get than that?

Shadow is the first one I've unlocked. I have noticed that the otehrs do seem pretty badass themselves just from watching other people with them.

But eh. I don't really care how broken they are. It'd only be frustrating if I were playing against other people. Hell, I think these characters were made so the below to average joes like myself can play on levels besides bronze and silver, but mostly bronze.

Here's an early description of the DLC and there should be some footage of it or some more in-depth news on the showcase stream
Mass Effect 3: Leviathan is the first story-driven, single player DLC to be made available since Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut. Leviathan expands upon the events of Mass Effect 3 with gripping and emotional storytelling, compelling new characters, powerful weapons and unique upgrades. Players will be able to discover more about the origins of the reapers as they race across the galaxy to unravel the mystery that surrounds the fabled Leviathan.
