Believe it or not I have actually toned down my game buying recently. In fact over the last three months most of my new games have all come from trade ins. I did 3 or 4 mass trade ins at EB and just did a buttload of pre-ordering.

The best part was EB was running a special that any trade in towards a EA game was worth an extra $5. Well since I pre-ordered tiger woods they gave me the extra $5 on about 30 games. I made a killing and still have stuff on pre-order from now until the end of November. all of the stuff is paid in full too

I still might drop the $50 on Live today but I am leaning towards NO

yeah, I've got quite a few games I'm gonna trade in for ESPN NBA, College, and we'll see if I have any trade in value left...plus Rainbow Six is coming. I just got tired of playing a game for a week and being bored of it. Sports games don't do that to me as much, cause of all the online playing.

                        Re: Jak & Daxter II

Just picked this game up this weekend. My impressions:

Missions are cool, similar to collecting orbs in the first one.

Driving around town SUCKS ***. Basically just wastes your time.

Graphics, sound, story, are all great.

And to illustrate this to people who don't know, you basically have to drive WAAAAAAYYYY across a GTA like town to enter an area for a mission. Then drive back to the origin after the mission to get another one. You basically spend probably 25% of your time wasting your time.
Overall, with the driving I'd give the game 9.5 / 10.
With the driving, I'd give it an 8.5 / 10. Is it as good as the first? Yes, when you're actually playing. Overall, probably not though.

Just picked this game up this weekend. My impressions:
