2 things that were changed have made me such a better player already are the change weapon (Y) button and the quick granade button (Tap LB). Two welcome additions that I'm all for. In the middle of a gun fight it's really hard for me to switch weapons the old way. Great job MS

Oh I forgot to mention this game is BADA**!

After playing about 3 hours of Overrun last night....

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I'm all in. It was fun with non-speaking randoms and it was even better when I was on a team with people who had mics. Few things:

I ****ing hate randoms. Played people last night who were 2 scouts and 2 engineers. I chose medic so we all ran out of ammo pretty quickly. The one time someone in that group chose Cole - we still ran out of ammo because homeboy apparently didn't feel like dropping ammo boxes, even after I hit him with a few melees.

COG:
- Scout is pretty useless until the last stage or the big baddies come out thank to the debuff beacon.
- Booshka is a tricky weapon man. My first kill last night was a Booshka bank shot and I don't think I've had a kill with it since.
- Engineer's turret is really powerful. Also, if you're going to repair a fortification, throw the turret out first for cover fire.
- Medic's don't be stingy with the stim grenade.

LOCUST:
- It feels good to play as Locust knowing that this is the only time we will
- Tickers are beastly. Their claw attack is really powerful. Tickers can also eat unlimited frags and booshka shells. I've spent the most time as a ticker and have easily done the most damage with it. The dash is very useful.

Also, when everyone spawns, if grenadiers throw a frag, tickers can eat it. Always a good idea.

- Wretches are good as well, can leap over fortifications, 2 hit deaths and can climb areas.
- I have no use for the Rager or Serepede.
- Save your points for the Corpser. They are nearly unstoppable, especially when you can bury yourself and go underneath fortifications.

Again, having a lot of fun. Looking forward to some OS nights playing this.

A few times as COG, I pressed LB to check my tac-com and ended up throwing whatever the special was. Other than that, I've had no issues switching to the new scheme. I like it a lot, actually.

Also, the one thing I've always loved about Gears is there's noob tubers. Players just running around looking at their tact map gets old quickly.

According the the GameStop manager I just talked with if you don't get your code emailed to you go in on Saturday and they can print the codes out in the store.
