Didn't realize this was only $20...bought. I like that reviews are saying that it's a more fulfilling single player experience than D3 was, since that's the way I prefer to play most of these games (although multiplayer is fun with the right people).

Is loot instanced like in Diablo III? No stealing other players stuff?

Oh, and after looking at the download list, it appears that TL1 is also being downloaded with it. Cool.

The loot is your own so no stealing. Up to 6 players can play at launch (possibly be able to add more with mods). I'll see you on Steam!

Nope I just looked and Torchlight 2 unlocks in 13 hours.

Anyone having trouble creating an account? I get a "connection reset" page when I pick manage account.

Guess I can't play right now then...oh wait, this isn't D3, I can play single player offline.

When I start playing tonight I will be thinking about the first few days experience with Diablo 3...when I wasn't playing.

Think I'm going to like this class because it seems to play similar to D3's Demon Hunter (bows, guns, focus on maintaining seperation, etc.). Absolutely pathetic range when you start though, but it can be increased pretty quickly on early level ups.

BTW, that fraps counter is from VLC when I was trying to screenshot from a recording window. Game is running butter smooth 60 FPS.
