For those who have done everything on Tatooine(sp)or finished KOTOR...........

I'm stuck on the side quest of retrieving Mission's brother. The Chieftan of the sand people has given me permission to take Griff, but I've turned the compound inside out and he is nowhere to be found. Has this happened to any one else? Where is he?

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I had the same problem. Turned out that I opened the door across from the Jawas that was going to be behind. Nothing was there. After that, I got permission to take Griff.
Unfortunately, if you do it in the wrong order - like I did - you trigger a bug. Griff disappears, and you'll never find him. I finshed the game without it, and just avoided talking to Mission much...

Unfortunate, but there's so much else to see, it wasn't as big a deal as I thought it would be.

Man, that must have been what happened. I did open that door before I asked about him and there's nothing but bones there. Oh well..................................
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

I just picked it up today. I've never really been into RPG's so we'll see.

Let me know what you think CanadianGuy.....RPGs aren't really my thing either, but if the game's good enough then I might get into it. Of course, I probably should stay away from something with the potential of taking so many hours. I've barely had time to play Crimson Skies, ID 04, and Rainbow 6.

I had really lost interest in RPGs as well, the last one I played all the way through was Final Fantasy VII. But this game is my favorite game of 2003. Totally engrossing storyline, good side quests, and plenty of action. Took me about 40 hours to beat, although I more or less took my time.

Well I played it last night for a few hours, didn't really seem like that long the time just flew by. The game is really good, even though the combat pauses for me to order attacks, I'm getting use to it.

I'm not one for Star Wars, but I'm actually liking the story and the world, although since I don't know much about SW I'm getting lost here and there. Best part about the game is the option to be a prick to everyone and go to the darkside. I'm trying to be good though. Graphics are good, framerate is a little jumpy here and there, but solid for the most part.

Gotta play some more before I judge it. I'm sure it'll get even better once I get farther along. I actually ended up dieing when I went into the underground part. Two thumbs up so far from a non rpg player. I'd suggest anyone on the fence to alteast rent it.
