Re: Destiny
Oh I've seen it done and used it successfully in PvE. When it works, it is quite devastating. I don't know what it is, either I have the worst luck ever in PvP or I just suck that bad, lol
I honestly don't think it's the latter because I do quite well in other online shooters, go figure!!!

Re: Destiny
Not sure what all the "hunter hate" is about, especially in PvE...I don't play PvP,so maybe that where it stems from...I don't know.
But from a PvE perspective,I have absolutely no problems running with my hunter,I find myself switching my subclasses quite often to suit the situation as well.
If I'm running with a buddy or a full fire team,I will use my BD subclass,as the ability to go invisible has proven beneficial to keeping a mission going.
If I'm running by myself,or my step son (hunter) is running BD,I will run with the golden gun...that way we have both bases covered.
Saying the hunter is the worst class in the game is laughable,as I'm sure each class has it's strengths and weaknesses..it all boils down (imo) to each persons play style and what fits them.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Destiny's First DLC Has Free Content For Everyone
All players will receive new weapons and armor, daily bounties, and five additional bounty slots in December through The Dark Below.http://www.gamespot.com/articles/des...n=hub_platformEven if you don't buy the first expansion for Destiny, called The Dark Below, you'll still receive new content for Bungie's first-person shooter, the developer has revealed. In this week's Bungie Weekly Update, the developer outlined what's included for people who buy the content and what's coming to the game for everyone--paying and non-paying players alike.
First up, below is what Destiny players who buy The Dark Below for $20 or through the $35 DLC pass will receive at launch on December 9 across Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
- 3 Story missions featuring new enemies and encounters in the Cosmodrome and Moon
- Tower Character and Vendor, Eris, featuring new Quests, Bounties, and rewards
- Exclusive Legendary Weapons and Armor
- New Exotic Weapons
- “Will of Crota” Strike
- “Crota's End” Raid
- 3 Crucible Maps: Pantheon, Skyshock, and The Cauldron
- Maximum Light Level increase to 32
Bungie says there will also be activity playlist tweaks--a new Crucible for the new maps is one example. In addition, Bungie will release in-depth notes regarding weapon and armor changes to be implemented alongside the release of The Dark Below "in the coming weeks."
Meanwhile, new content and features for all players coming to Destiny through The Dark Below:
- Some new Weapons and Armor
- New Daily Bounties
- Five additional Bounty slots
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

I don't understand why it's laughable. It's not possible that something in a game has a balance disadvantage in a particular mode? It has happened before.
I don't play PvE, so my argument is based on playing crucible with others. You admitted that you don't play it so I don't understand how you can dismiss someone's opinion as laughable. I just believe that it is.
There are pages and pages of hunter disadvantage hate on the destiny forums. I'm not the only one by far.Last edited by sbauer318; 11-03-2014, 07:29 PM.Comment
