Re: Destiny
I just bought this game for the Xbox One. Can a brother get some tips on how to play this game? For example, what would you guys do differently now than when you started? What should I do/don't do when I start out? I haven't been able to really look into the classes yet, and I know this isn't exactly the same type of shooter as Call of Duty, but I did enjoy "rushing" when I played COD. So maybe that can help you guys determine what type of player I am online.Comment

Re: Destiny
So, what... do we have four for sure for the Raid?--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Really depends on a lot of things. Honestly, the classes aren't hugely different. Titans are more for melee, tanking, team defense. Strikers are pretty good for PVP if you're interested in playing "The Crucible."I just bought this game for the Xbox One. Can a brother get some tips on how to play this game? Hunters are probably the weakest PVE class, but it isn't a serious handicap or anything. They have a knifing subclass and a shooting subclass; they are meant to be more agile and sort of mix between the other two classes.
Warlocks obviously deal with more "magical" powers. They are strong overall so you can't go wrong with either subclass. I've mostly played Titan so if you have more questions about them I can help. My experience with the other two is more limited.
I personally don't much like the PVP in this game. That opinion will obviously differ depending on who you ask. I think a lot of is just really cheap and easy kills, limited skill involved.
The PVE elements are single player, technically, but there is a LOT of co-op involved. If you have friends it is a great experience, but if you don't it really only matters come the end-game content. There is no match-making for the daily heroic, weekly strikes, or the raid(s). You can use certain websites to find people, though, like destinylfg, reddit, etc.
For leveling, you can play through the story straight-up. If you're in a hurry to reach the end-game content (which is Level 20+), it is better to unlock bounties then start doing those, both PVE and PVP bounties. You can also mix-in patrols and strikes.
Unfortunately I'm on PS4 so I can't provide much in-game help to you, but feel free to ask any questions you may have.Comment

Re: Destiny
The more I think about the upcoming changes, the more upset I am. We've wasted hours and hours upgrading and grinding out new gear to max it out, and now, all legendary weapons are essentially useless for the new content. The VoC is my favorite weapon, and it will have no use in the new raid thanks to it not being a 323 damage weapon.
Not to mention using TONS of shards and energies that, had we known, could have been saved for the new legendary weapons and gear in the DLC.
I dunno. I don't know if I can dump the hours into grinding for gear and upgrades again that I already have, just to have the same issue potentially pop up for the next DLC again.Comment

Re: Destiny
The normal VOG raid was level 26 and gave us raid weapons to complete the level 30 raid. At the same time, VOG raid weapons are just as viable for CE normal mode at level 30. In CE normal mode you will get raid weapons for level 32 hard raid. That's the MMO carrot game. The more I think about the upcoming changes, the more upset I am. Re: Destiny
That would be ok if switching guns was the same as switching out a sword or whatever in an MMO. Even switching from one auto rifle to another can mean big changes in playstyle. I can understand having to do more, but making us completely clean house ****ing sucks.Comment

Re: Destiny
YESSSSS!!! Finally got that elusive raid chest piece for my Warlock. After I upgrade it completely I'll finally be level 30. To bad the level cap bumps up in 5 days...
Also pulled Vision of Confluence. I've heard great things about this weapon. Excited to use it.
For those of you that have completed the hard raid, how many level 30's does it take for an average group of players?SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
