Man, just had some fun with this other guy on the Level 6 Co-op mission. We started out with no positional strategy on that dang Death-Walker and he had to revive my sorry butt more times than I can count. lol We did know to go for the legs though. We finally figured out were the adds were coming from and got the DW in a crossfire and had it almost down.. then all the sudden out of no where comes Leeroy Jenkins, ignorant of our strategy.
He charges right at the thing and of course dies. Me and the other guy were on the same sheet of music, as we both let him stay there and continued our two-prong assault on the DW.
After we downed the DW, we revived him and headed to the next phase of the mission.
He got with the plan when we got to the Sphere of Death and we handled it pretty easily. Think we each died only once. Of course it all would have been easier if we were in comms with each other.
Most fun I've had so far with the Beta. Really wish they didn't cap the level at 8, as I'm starting to find some really cool gear for Level 9 and up. I've only played the Hunter so far and I like most of the weapons to my surprise. I think my favorites though, are the Scout and Pulse rifles.
Going to check out the other classes later today and get some MP in. Only did one match of MP and got my butt handed to me. I don't play alot of MP, so it was to be expected. I'm old and reflexes are just shot. Did notice though, that it looks like that bunny-hopping is going to be popular in MP. Sad to see that.

So I'm an idiot. I didn't realize that the level 3 explore mission was available. I didn't realize it was the icon you are basically hovering over as you open up the Earth map to select a mission.
The explore mission is such a blast. Laid back enough that you can just leisurely complete missions and level up at your own pace, yet a real challenge if you want to take missions on the back side of the level where the level 8-9 enemies are.
Also, had a public event where the death walker was dropped into the middle of the map. We had 5 minutes to kill it. I ran into this event a few times in the alpha, but we were never able to take it down. Me and a few other level 8's absolutely annihilated the walker with about 3:30 to spare. Got a ton of XP and some pretty cool loot. The public events are awesome as everyone drops what they are doing to try and complete the mission. Definitely cool to see.
I'll probably try out the strike mission today. I already beat it in the alpha, but it should be fun if I can find a good group of you guys on there.
Also, Warlock FTW! Having an absolute blast with that class. Between the alpha and beta, I've leveled all three classes to 8, and it looks like I may stick with the Warlock in the full game. Love the nova blast.Comment

What I've learned so far is that I'm not so good at pvp in Destiny. Actually, I'm pretty terrible.
I did, however, love the pve. I've levelled a titan to 8 and really enjoyed the story missions, but like Kearnzo above me I had the most fun doing the exploration missions.

I played last night with two friends and while I was bummed that it was Old Russia, we still had a blast. We spent most of our time exploring and looking for the gold loot chests.
I'm a level 7bafter one night of playing do a level cap of 8 at this point blows. I would have loved to try the level 15 hunter class. Hopefully that will change later in the beta.
After about 4 hours of continuous play, I'm still pretty hyped for this game. I was lucky enough to also be involved in two separate public events that were different, which was tons of fun.
Level cap and one map really sucks, but I'm definitely enjoying this game with friends.Comment

I am loving this game, I just wish there was more loot.
Maybe there will be in retail? Every time you beat a boss you get a timer before it ends, would be a great place to add loot.
