I would never own just an xbox, ps2 or gamecube.

    Buy all three.

Its just money, you will make more.

There is definately a #1...but that depends on what you like.

      EA Sports online = PS2

Franchise Modes = Xbox (for the hard-drive)

      MGS Titles/XSN = Xbox

      ESPN title = Push

I think it depends what you like. For me...the #1 is clearly the Xbox. But, that's FOR ME.

Good post and I am right with you. For sports it XBOX , all the way.

Re: PS2 to XBOX?...XBOX users please read and help.

I'm in the same situation he's in, and getting both wouldn't make much sense to me. Rumor has it, EA Sports and Microsoft been talkin to each other a lil bit and finally may be having it online.

I don't see any game on PS2 that I like that isn't on Xbox. Squaresoft is going to Xbox so that makes it even more great for me. I wanna play Halo and Halo2 (gonna be hot!!!!!) and Ninja Gaiden (THE HOTNESS!) and PS2 isn't cutting it really. Madden online... NCAA Online (DONT REMIND ME -_-)... I HATE playin these games online cuz cheesers and cheaters are everywhere. And the leagues I get on PS2 (overall) suck cuz many people go inactive. I can't even find a PS2 league that has an active decent website. XBox got nice league sites, and they are always active.

PS2 is made of cheap materials!!! The fan is a crock of ****, i mean c'mon it don't do anything but bring in dust or spread it around the PS2. The graphics are coo, I can take em, but the variety of controllers isn't that big. Madcatz suck. I can't stress that enough. They SUCK! Finally I thought they made a good Ps2 controller but find that when it vibrates, it happens to press X every time it vibrates. I have to take vib off now...

The price of having the best ps2 system compared to Xbox is higher (meaning having all the acessories) check out all this you have to get:

            3 more controllers
            X-port
            Action Replay
            Network Adaptor
            Headset
            DVD remote
2 memory cards (lol... Don't tell me you can use the Xport. That'd make you want to sell your ps2 even more)
            Multitap
Game Zone speaker system (if you have ps2 or xbox, and play football games, this is a must have)

            Xbox
            3 more controllers
memory card (you don't need it, but good to have)
            action replay
            Xbox Live starter kit
            DVD playback
            GameZone Speaker set

And I think that's about it. Both systems may need a disc cleaner, just to clean your disks. Hmmm... Add up to costs (go to ebgames.com) and see what you get. But I think i'd go with Xbox, especially since play online you get the whole set.

Ok... um... Hmm... I guess PS2 is cheaper? I dunno... I still think I'm headed to the dark side
