    Re: Divinity: Original Sin

I don’t know how I happened upon it but started reading about it and EVERY review sang its praises. For 15 bucks for PS Plus users I had to jump. Who would’ve thought that I’d love these types of games so much. I’ve gotten to a point where I’ve gotten rid of everything else to fund buying more RPGs.

Wasteland 2 is on my wishlist. Also considering XCOM 2.

Whatever you do don't play this game for the first time while drinking. I had a buddy over while back and we started this up after a few beers. We didn't really know what we were doing since it was our first time playing and our game ended within 1 hour.

I actually tweeted how this game was very hard when drunk and one of the people who worked on the game liked my Tweet.

Fun game however you just need to pay attention and manage your inventory well.

I was completely sober when I started and I’m pretty sure I messed up during character creation. Lol

That I was one of the few people who loves this game and others like it. Very challenging, strategic and deep. Im the same way, once I found this gem, I've been on the look out for others like it. Wasteland 2 is definitely next.

A FAQ and strategy guide is definitely needed for this game. You will miss so much just going on your own. Everything needs to be tackled in some sort of order. Plus it helps knowing what spells to purchase and upgrade before you reach a map. This game is unforgiving if you waste a few turns in a fight. I love it.

I’ve gotten to the point where using strat guides feels like cheating but, I’ve not played an RPG like this one either. Lol

This morning I learned that reading books in the library can often times give you crafting recipes. Still in Cyseal. Finally had a couple more fights:

I so want to get this for my laptop so that I can play without being away from my family. And take it when I travel. If my laptop can run it I might pick it up on steam.

I love it and caved and picked it up on steam. Don’t know how much I’ll play my PS4 version now since my laptop is more portable and I can play dang near any time. Lost some progress by switching but I’m also smarter this time around lol

I still need to play the first game.

Second game is out next month. Will be fully voiced at release too.

How does the game deal with other party members if you are playing co-op ? Do you control them or does the CPU ? I've only played Single Player and control everyone.

                            Thanks.

The lead person chooses how its done. You can have 4 people and everyone have a character, etc.

I play coop with a friend and we split it 2 characters each but he could set it for me to control only 1 char while he does the other 3. Another thing is only the first 2 character are customizable. The others you either get at the end of time place or find during the story.

Woah, the 14th, I don't know why I thought it was the 28th. I slept on the first one for like two years before playing it, but 2 is a day one for me.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
