Candy, why do you detest loot trading?

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I'm curious about this as well. As someone who doesn't typically play these types of games, what are the potential issues with it? Some kind of cheating?
I'm personally excited for it as there was a considerable stretch of time in the beta where it seemed like we kept getting loot that the other one needed but was no good for whoever actually looted it.Comment

Only reason I can think of is someone creating multiple characters and putting all the great loot on their one main character.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I hope they allow us to remove the audio coming from the controller. Not sure if there was a way to remove it on PS4 during the beta, but it was annoying.
The trading system that coming out later sound like it going to go well with the game.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Well to be honest, since it's restricted to squad members only, there's not much of a difference than the trading system that existed in the beta......AKA leave the squad and be killed by a teamate, who then takes your stuff. The new method is more a legit method and doesn't involve death and someone going rogue, lol!I'm curious about this as well. Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
You can turn that off on the system level. From the dashboard, Settings > Devices > Controllers > Zero the "Volume Control (Speaker for Controller)" setting
I learned about this a long time ago when Resogun came out (which was WAY more annoying than anything the Division could manage
)

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
During both betas I never had any sound coming through my controller, not sure how I accomplished that, lol, was that way by default. I'm guessing it's a setting somewhere on the PS4.

I think the speaker volume is disabled if you use headphones, that's probably why it never affected our group. Since we were all using mics.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Yeah I have a question about this. I use the Sony Wireless Golds with the Bluetooth adapter. Instead of coming out of my controller the voice comes in thru my headphones PAINFULLY loud, like screeching in my ear, no matter what I do with the volume controls."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
