Jare and Hoos... I apologize, I asked you guys to help but then was never on... Trying to find a house right now so... But I finally got thru the Joe Ferro mission!! I was on last night, didn't see you guys on so I just matched with randoms and we got it done... **** that was tough tho!

But I'm definitely gonna do what brandon27 did... Complete side missions/encounters solo and group up for the story missions.

Currently at Level 12 now... Gonna take some time away for a little bit to enjoy The Show, I wanted to get past the Ferro mission.

I can see why you don't like the game if you try to lone wolf it. You're at such a huge disadvantage. I hate going in solo and try to avoid people.

Also...I'm not sure I read it in here...but MOTHER F THOSE 32 YELLOW SHOT GUN GUYS! One shot kill from 100m...

I hear you man (as I like to fly solo myself about half the time) but this is one area where The Division espouses realism. If there ever was a societal breakdown there'd be a huge advantage to groups over lone wolves. And yes the groups would prey upon the lone wolves.

My friends are either below lvl 30 or the dedicated individuals who are already geared up with high end items. I'm an all purple item lvl 30 (lvl32 DZ). Snatched 2 HE items yesterday but was gunned down by a group in extraction zone (after i revived one of them smh).

I teamed up with randoms last night to do the daily challenges and holy cow the guys I teamed with were like Gods, we ran through the first two challenges without taking a scratch I think..the third one was terrible though, took us about 2 hours as everyone except for one guy kept dying.

Made me think that one guy was incredibly powerful and the rest of us were just rubbish, but we did eventually beat it and I got a second gold so I'm happy..

Don't worry about that, that's how you learn and get better. Everyone gets downed in a challenge mission

Love this game. Last two nights have been doing the daily challenges with JareBear, Candyman, Boltman33, hoos4974, JNes and others. Those guys are awesome and I have gotten great equipment based upon their help. Each night before you knew it the clock somehow was showing 3 a.m......Five hours of sleep in total the last two nights but it was so worth it.

Yeah that's right...well I got my fair share of kills and as I said, it seemed to me one guy out of the four of us was why it was so damned tough, he probably had like double what all of us did. It was still a lot of fun though, pretty scary when about two or three shots kill you.

I agree if one shot kills you it's not much fun, but for me in this case it was like, be very careful but you can survive if you apply your med paks and skills correctly..well most of the time anyways.

All my teammates save that one guy died about 50 times in that mission just like me btw..

Yep! Even though we had a good group with the two randoms me and Birdman matched up with on the Russian Consulate challenging mission, we all got our asses handed to us at one point or another!

The biggest thing was we all were on mics, we constantly communicated throughout every step we took so we were on the same page, didn't make any attacks or moves until we were all in position and all said we were ready to go, when we all died and respawned, we took a minute to hang back and work out a new strategy to take to try and avoid dying again, and we did everything we could to revive each other as fast as we could when someone would go down.

Looking back in hindsight, that actually screwed us a couple times. Trying to revive a teammate, especially while entering the library as we for some reason had an affinity for dying on the staircase, we'd try to revive the downed guy who went down out in the wide open on the stairs, only to have one or two more people end up downed.
