Re: New Owner of an X-Box!

    >>>No I'm not. I don't buy a lot of games when they first come out. Asides from sports games and Ninja Gaiden, I don't have any games that were "new releases" when I got them. So the urge for me to get on Live isn't there. I'll probably get it in the coming months. When I get ASB tomorrow, that will be the only fully-Live enabled game that I own. I still haven't played R6:3, Crimson Skies, and many others. I will get them eventually. Like I said, my pound cake is just fine.<<<

Have you ever played Live? I think your approach would change 180 degrees if you did. Do you have broadband? Don't you like to compete against humans? Adds so much replay value to a game.

What good will Live have done me all this time? That's like living in an apartment and buying a lawn mower because I might get a house one day. When I get more fully-playable online games, I'll get Live. As of right now, I have no urge to rush out and buy Live.

OK, I guess it would have been impossible to play Live at a friend's house/apartment or even rent Live games while using the two-month free Live trial.

                  Yeah, that's certainly not possible.

                              What has this thread become?!

All I asked for were suggestions for games for the Xbox...now, people are fighting over how important XBL is.

                              Geez.
