Yea, the playing time issue is an interesting issue.

In fact, given its shortness, it could be a superb rental, because after you beat it, there doesn't seem to be much replay value.

Sure, there is a harder difficulty level, but the enemies are going to be the same place they were the first time through, only smarter.. That is a pretty big deal to me, and it has me sitting on the fence in terms of buy or rent.

XBox Live is on the way for me, but not for a few weeks.. So at this point I would be buying it for the single-player experience only.
